We came in for the War Eagle race from KC and needed some dinner. I haven’t been to an Abuelo’s since the Zona Rosa one closed. We loved our server Linae (sp?). And the food and space was excellent too!!
High quality authentic Tex-Mex cuisine in a very beautiful atmosphere/decor. All tables receive three different salsas to try along with fresh tortilla chips. If you like enchiladas I highly recommend trying the sampler. You get to choose from any number of fillings and pair it with your choice of topping.
This is an awesome place! One of my favorite Mexican Restaurant when I pass by Bentonville. Great food and we had great service! Food is not over seasoned, just right, salsa is good and they have a great hot salsa, the guacamole is excellent and a good amount. Good variety of dishes, you'll find one you'll fall in love with! Highly suggest this place to try and make it one of your favorite place to eat!
4friends had dinner here on Wednesday evening. Our food did not come out all at once. One person got her food, then about 3 minutes later 2 more got their food. It took another 5 minutes to get our 4th dinner. The last dinner was not what was ordered. They had to make it again. All of us felt that the food was very salty and not much spice. Rice was not quite cooked thoroughly. Several ordered steak enchiladas. We expected cut up steak pieces, but it was ground steak that was very dry. All in all, we would not go again. Lovely waitress that was efficient with her service. Food is just below average
Welcomed at the door and seated quickly. Our food came to table fast , hot and delicious. The chips are great. Be sure to order the house hot salsa!!
They are short of people and those they have show up late for their shift. Early dinning is held up due to the lateness issue, people are held in the lobby waiting for waitstaff to show up. Shredded Pork still is not on the menu, the covid excuse is getting real old. Our waiter did not know that soup ordered with a meal comes first, he is not trained here or at home! His employment interview was not effective for hiring a waiter. These problems have not been solved for months on end, this location will close soon! I am not the only person unhappy with my dinning experience,
Ridiculously expensive. My kids are used to getting the chicken and rice, typically known as the Steven special at most Mexican restaurants. Although they didn’t mention it, you are charged for each item separately. For a child’s Steven, it is $14.66. You are charged for half an order of fajitas, an order of rice, an order of tortillas and a small cheese dip. I did ask why and all the waiter and manager could tell me is that is the way it is priced.
I went to Abuelo's with friends to celebrate a birthday. It was a delightful evening. Our server was spectacular. She was very busy but was efficient and took great care of us. Our food was good. We all had something different and each enjoyed our meal. You can not make a reservation but can get put on a "wait list" on their website. We were able to enjoy our time together without feeling rushed to leave.
I experience here was excellent! The service was great, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I had the chili relleno and enchilada lunch special instead of rice and beans I had them mixed vegetables... This is a Tex-Mex place I don't remember seeing tacos on the menu I know they did not have tostadas but the flavor of the food is fabulous. Would definitely eat here again
The waitress was excellent.. The dish you see is a chile relleno and enchilada which are on the lunch menu I subbed the rice and beans with veggies which were very good.. it's a Tex-Mex restaurant... It's a very nice atmosphere inside love the decor..I was very satisfied and would definitely eat there again
