We visited Whole Hog while traveling through Little Rock. Both my wife and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with sides. For sides, she ordered a side salad and potato salad and I ordered baked beans and cole slaw. The meat in my sandwich was lean and tasty, but could have been smokier. My wife got a couple globs of fat in her sandwich, so it should have been pulled more carefully. The unfortunate bites of fat caused her to leave the sandwich half uneaten. As for the sides, the baked beans were tasty, but they seemed to be canned beans that had been "doctored up." The side salad was a basic bowl of greens. The slaw was good, made with crisp cabbage and not too sweet. And the potato salad was creamy and delicious. I like that it wasn't sweet and that the peelings were incorporated into the salad. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and the place was not busy when we arrived. There seems to be ample seating. All in all, the experience was good but not great. We feel there are better choices for BBQ and the meal was forgettable.

We came all the way from California for some good Barbecue, and we found it here! Everything was delicious ? They even had Gumbo! Glad we stopped by.

They have gumbo on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Probably one of the best barbecue places I've ever been to in my life. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is out of this world. Make sure you try all the sauce!

This is great BBQ! The pulled pork was perfectly cooked and I love the assortment of 6 BBQ sauces at each table (they were all good). The ribs were really moist that they fell of the bone and were so tasty that they didn’t even need sauce. The potatoes salad was the creamiest that I have ever had (I think maybe they add cream cheese?). The baked beans were good along with the coleslaw which was a sweet slaw like KFC’s. The prices were really good especially for the high quality of taste. Definitely stopping here every time that we pass through!

The atmosphere was good. Ordered the pulled pork and pork ribs side. The meats get an average: the ribs provided were dry and overcook. Pulled pork lacked flavor. poor The sauces provided were the highlights The portion size was good and reasonably priced. I would recommend and will try again

Came into North Little Rock for a wedding and we were told to visit this restaurant. It was near our hotel and easy to find, so we went by for supper. When u come into the restaurant, u go to the counter to review the menu on the wall and then make ur selection. They had a great variety and the prices seemed very reasonable. I decided on the pork nachos and it was not only HUGE, but delicious. The pork was tender and flavorful and the cheese had just enough heat in it to make it interesting. My family members got loaded potatoes and the brisket. Everyone loves their selections and we all said that their meat was very well done and cooked to precision. The establishment was clean and the service was great.

Not impressed. Kids chicken plate was cold and so spicy kids could not eat it. Coleslaw tasted like a mix from the grocery store and baked beans tasted like canned bush’s. Honestly the best part was the side salad with ranch even though it was legit lettuce and carrots. Definitely wouldn’t come back if I’m in the area again.
