Food was great. Beware, do not wear your best clothes even with the bibb and everything to eat was a mess, but oh so worth it. Only thing I didn't like were the cheap napkins that stick to your hands when wiping and the plastic fork and spoon.
Great seafood! A little pricey. We tried to go here 6 months ago and the service really sucked, apparently no hostess on duty that day. But we've gone there 3 times in the last 2 months and service was good. We usually get the M1, 1lb shrimp for $20. Hushpuppies and calamari were also very good. They have an odd way to serve it, see the pics.
The fried food was really good. We tried the fried calamari for our appetizer and I am very happy to announce that I now have found a restaurant that have crispy and cooked just right calamari! I will go back over and over just for that. For our entrees, I got the fried catfish basket with rice, hubby got the fried shrimp and Cajun fries, and a side of fried chicken wings. All three were seasoned well, very crispy and served hot! Our server was attentive and professional! We'll be back soon!
The food was good but portions were really small. I ordered a $40 plate and only got 2 tiny potatoes.The service was honestly some of the worst I've ever experienced. Our server even brought another family's food to our table, left it for several minutes, then took it to the correct table, once we told him it wasn't ours. He was also down talking others servers to us guests, which was super unprofessionalWe won't go back and spend $150 EVER again. At one point, I was seriously contemplating just going to the kitchen for my own drink.I'm an understanding guest in most instances, but it wasn't a peak time and wasn't really even busy. First and last visit for me.
Really enjoyed the experience of eating here. We didn’t expect that our order would be too much but the food was really good. I couldn’t stop eating eventhough im already full! Staff were quick and accommodating. As a tourist, it was a lovely experience dining here.
I am in love with their food. do you ever get a craving for some good seafood with fantastic spicy flavors to go with it? well if you do this is the place. the staff is great, and are always willing to go out of their way to make sure that you are super happy with your dining experience. I know I'll be back.... and soon...
Excellent experience and food. We dined early afternoon and it wasn't crowed at all. The special for the day really hit the spot. Their fried calamari was very delicious. Definitely will return.Only issue observed was the lack of waiting staff (that's everywhere) and so be the time we got done eating the place was filling up and it was very obvious the need for more staff. Plus it became very warm in the building which I attributed to the number of people being sat. My date went to the bathroom and as I had already paid I gathered up our leftovers and vacated the sit. Which was quickly filled by new diners. They had part of the dining sitting around the bar intentionally empty which again I attribute to the need for more workers. But we had a great experience and know to arrive slightly early for dinner to receive the same service.
Food was pretty good had the mud bugs and sausage, but needs a serious overhaul in the dining area and bathrooms. Loose the most wanted on the door makes it look cheap.i realize these folks screwed you but keep it to the employees. On second thought made the wait for a table more fun...keep it!
I have eaten at two other locations several times this years and never had a bad experience until now. That fear of getting your food to go really show how over looked we are even though we paying the same price as eating in.So, when I called my order in the lady on the phone was nonchalant and before I can finish saying my order it was anything else everytime I took a pause. Made be forget to say what kind and spice level and she never even asked.When I go there, there is no sign that says To-Go orders. So when I get to the counter I tell the lady my name and she tells me my order. I asked for her to tell me my order because I wanted to double check my order before paying. She slides me the ticket. The ticket doesnt even show me the type of style or the spice level. I then tell her this and she tells me.Now dont get me wrong it was a few ladies that were sweet just listening to their conversation with customers.Okay the food. My food was so water down I couldn't taste the flavor had to put some seasoning on the crawfish myself. Had several soft shelled crawfish and the corn was not like the other two restaurants and I know because I always get extra.
We’ve come and spent a large chunk of change for poor service. Food was amazing no doubt but such a hassle to get your food or anything there after. Arrived around 6:30 and waited on our ticket for almost an hour. After finally walking to the front he decided to bring our ticket at 8:15. Upon bringing this the the managers attention we were told “if you can’t afford the ticket just say that”.
