This is an update of my review below. The Joint continues to be one of Little Rock's/N Little Rock's treasures. This comedy theater is so much more than just stand-up! The monthly Jazz series (curated by Ted Ludwig) is top notch and the monthly Acoustic Guitar series is one of the best in the world. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, comfortable environment. Don't miss it!____________This place is a gem! The Friday & Saturday night shows are a hoot! I haven't missed one in the last two and a half years. Some of the best guitarists in the world play here monthly for the Argenta Acoustic Music Series. This venue holds about 100, the audience is knowledgeable and respectful, and every seat is good. Drinks are quite reasonable, but the food is pretty limited, so eat before you go.
Never a bad experience here! Our favorite entertainment in town! The Main Thing doesn't disappoint - haven't missed a show in years. So many types of entertainment, from comedy to live music. Highly recommended!

Me and my girl went on the stand up night. Not everyone was a good comedian but everyone did something funny intentionally, or whatever may be the case. It was genuine and the MC was good. They had a good line up with known talent/veteran comics with an eclectic cast of characters (15 in all) cut good times had by all and cheap drinks ☺️
Most fun we have had in a long time...so glad that we got to see the show. It is an absolute must see if your in Little Rock, and worth the trip if your not in Little Rock. We will definitely be back to see the show again.
My wife and I very much enjoyed “The Main Thing” and plan to be back soon. Great for date night.
