Friendly baristas! Fast service! I love the indoor lightning. This location has one long table and several bar level table and stools. There is one set of comfy chairs. The bar stools are a bit uncomfortable to seat for long periods. I miss the old Starbucks setup and ambiance.

sounds like eva wasn’t watching her toddler and got mad that the employees notified her that she was walking behind the counter lmao i love this store, always great customer service

The Asian lady at the register is HORRIBLE! The worst customer service I’ve ever had EVER! Don’t give this Starbucks your money! Don’t waste your time.

I happen to frequent this Starbucks. I love the sweet little Asian girl behind the counter. She is always so pleasant to me. She sadly didn't work this weekend :(

I was at Starbucks trying to study and some lady’s kid was screaming in the store while she did nothing. After some other customers complained a barista talked to her and she blew up on the barista. The barista was super respectful and handled the situation perfectly. Also the coffee was bomb

I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks across the country, and never have I experienced such rudeness from a barista as I did at this Starbucks location. My little family and I had been on the road for many days, traveling home from Maine to Arizona, when we stopped in to use the internet and grab a quick bite to eat. My husband and I are traveling with an almost two year old, and we have to take lots of little breaks so she doesn’t go out of her mind in the car. In this instance, we also needed to change her diaper. Starbucks is usually a nice little spot to take a minute. But not this one. I ordered a sous vide egg bite for me and a cake pop for my toddler, the barista who took my order was rude and cold, but I’ve worked in food service and know how soul crushing it can be, so I didn’t really mind too much. When we arrived, the store was bustling with activity, as many Starbucks are. There was a very small rush happening, but nothing too major (former Starbucks shift supervisor here, so I know). My toddler picked up on the energy of the place, which was super loud with grinders and blenders going, ice crashing from scooping and filling ice, Starbucks baristas yelling customer names etc. and the music was very, very loud, louder than it normally is in a Starbucks. My daughter squealed with delight with all this activity. And because she is in an experimental stage, as most toddlers are, she did it again as the first squeal had yielded an interesting sound due to the high ceilings (she’s into acoustics, what can I say). She was having a good time, but was not out of control or doing anything wrong. She was very curious about what was going on behind the scenes as well. As she stood on the lobby side of the pastry counter, next to a high pile of floor mats that separated the lobby from the back, the barista who took my order, and who was clearly already in distress from the small rush that was happening, stopped and very rudely told us we needed to quiet our child and get her under control. I was flabbergasted. Never in my years as a Starbucks shift supervisor would I have said that to a customer, and I wouldn’t encourage it of the baristas I was supervising either.I confronted this barista, who told me she was the shift supervisor. When I told her that her treatment of us and our child was unnecessarily rude and uncalled for, she claimed my toddler had tried to go behind the counter. This couldn’t have been farther from the truth. I was watching my child, and she did not attempt to go behind the counter and was only standing stationary in the lobby watching the activity unfold behind the counter. My child would not have even wanted to go behind the counter. She doesn’t stray far from her dad or me, and even though she is gregarious, she can also be shy around people she doesn’t know. All the barista had to do was bend over and smile and say hello, and my daughter would have smiled back and shyly run away to hide behind me or her dad. The barista then claimed she was getting noise complaints, which I highly doubt was the case (love the fake review from the person “studying”), unless they also complained about the multitude of other much louder noises that filled the space.Toddlers are not dogs to be tamed and controlled. My child was not doing anything out of line, but instead was behaving as any child her age would. She was happy to be out of the car, and was curious about the space around her. I am hurt that any human would choose to engage with a sweet and curious little child in that way. This barista should really reevaluate the way she chooses to interact with her customers. On top of this, we couldn’t change my child’s diaper because there was no changing table in the bathroom. We also didn’t get the cake pop until my egg bite was done, which took a very long time. If my child had gotten her cake pop right away, she wouldn’t have made the two squealing noises that seemed to irritate the barista so much, because she would have been too busy stuffing her adorable face with cake pop.

Shift manager told us to quiet our child when our 2 year did a 2 year old squeal. When my wife told her that was inappropriate to say, plenty of louder noises in the place, blenders, terrible music, etc. the shift manager claimed our daughter tried to go behind the counter. She absolutely did not even come close to trying to go behind the counter. Manager was obviously distraught because they had a small rush and decided to take it out on us. Also, no changing tables in either bathroom which is a pain in the behind for any parent. To the shift manager, get your priorities straight and don’t take out your frustrations on a 2 year old being a 2 year old.

Front staff lady was friendly and sweet. She also got my order right. The barista however, rushed my order and didn't give me a heat sleeve or finished my order. It was a Vanilla CARAMEL latte not vanilla latte.

They need a manager in this store. Everyone working is very polite and friendly but there is a problem every time I visit. A few I remember includeOut of venti cups, I was given two tall cups insteadBacked up on mobile orders, 6 people waiting inside, but a customer that ordered in the store got his order before all 6 waiting on their mobile orderAccepting mobile orders but store was closed, only allowing drive through

Very upset with the service. They messed up my order and didn't even ask about making a new one. Usually I don't leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed. Will never return I'd rather go to the other location at JFK. They have very nice and kind employees.
