I ordered smoked chicken and got some leftover pieces swimming in bbq sauce and grease. its always been so good. What happened
The service is amazing, the food is divine… we had a link dinner, a beef dinner, and a catfish dinner and everything we tried was on point. It was hands down the best catfish and fried okra I’ve ever had. We stopped in based on reviews on a road trip and I’ll drive the five hours just to come through again, worth every mile. Can’t wait to try this fried pie, it smells amazing!
The food was excellent and you get plenty of it. Friendly staff. Go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I would recommend if u are looking for home cooking and awesome food.
So look first off let me say this , the food is not only delicious it’s clean , like I’ve been eating soup food all week and eating these ribs and this chicken I can tell they actually cleaned the meat good before marinating and seasoning , the corn bread is YUMMY to my tummy the ribs fell off my bone as I took a bite and the chicken was also falling off their bbq sauce is AMAZING And the customer service matched the food they are so sweet and nice they kept coming to everyone’s table making sure we were all good it’s a nice environment very nice , && the play offs are on :)
Food was fantastic. Got the fried catfish meal. The fish was perfectly cooked, the breading thin and crispy. Didn't see the Mac and cheese when I ordered, so I got potato salad and cole slaw, both had perfect texture and were excellently seasoned.Tried the sweet potato pie too. Very sweet, but full of flavor.Prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Good atmosphere. 100% would go back.
This place used to be so good but the last time I went (a few days ago) I was highly disappointed. The Mac n cheese tasted like it had too much sour cream in it or something idk and the yams tasted like they were dumped out of a can and warmed up, no flavor or sugar at all. The fish and cornbread was good but you really can't go wrong with those two.
Food was horrible the Dressing was soggy like it wasn't cook all the way .cornbread tough candid yams taste like opened out a can unsweetened. Horrible dinner in the trash .hubby bought chop beef sandwich taste like pork .nevergo again even if someone else paid .
I'm a connoisseur when it comes to barbecue I'm very picky about barbecue. You got barbecue and you got boiled Q I had a sort of bad experience when I ate the fried peach pie I have not got a chance to talk to the manager about it. Let's just say something came out that I didn't like to be continued ? when you come from St Louis where the barbecue is excellent and come to a place that it's not quite the same. When I went I got the chopped beef sandwich with slaw on it it was okay
