We got excellent service from Blake, who was extremely accommodating of my cousins allergy concerns. This included grilling his half of the alligator bites rather than frying them (which turned out to be absolutely delicious). This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but I would highly recommend giving it a try!

My family and I dined here recently (passing through the state). It was truly one of the very best meals I have enjoyed at a restaurant in a very long time!! Casual dining atmosphere, the staff was super pleasant (very genuine) and the meal was fine dining. I am accustomed to organic. Therefore, many restaurants often rank from barely adequate to adequate, but I would plan a trip to the area just to visit this restaurant again!!!

I believe the owner greeted us. Our server gave our two year old daughter a fruit bowl to snack on while we waited for our food. The atmosphere was homey. The food was superb. Get the $50 platter. It will feed three. I think this is family owned which is why we will continue to support this restaurant while we live in the area. The tomato based dipping sauce is phenomenal that could compete with those chicken restaurant sauces!!!

Have some of these reviewers truly ate there? The small thin strip of fish along with a tablespoon of coleslaw in a potion cup and ten cold fries is not worth the price we paid. The best thing in the to go box was the sauce.I went because of the reviews, I go to Hooks and just wanted a local place not too drive out of the area. I know places are having a hard time, but tell the truth because everyone is having a hard financial time and spending forty four dollars plus five on tip for a to go order that was just okay is wrong.

All of our food tasted great. everything was fresh and seasoned well. we got catfish, shrimp, fries, fried okra, and hush puppies. It's pricey for what you get.also, were ordered fried okra and when it came out it was the whole piece of okra fried, not cut up. the reason you have to cut up okra to fry it is so the slime can ooze out. keeping it whole might be aesthetically pleasing, but in reality, all you get is molten hot okra slime in your mouth.

If you're looking for a local spot in North Little Rock, Arkansas for excellent seafood with a taste of soul? You've found the right place! There's nothing but locals in the spot, it's slightly hard to find in a hotel next to the Bank, but the trouble of finding it is made up by how tasty and delicious the food is! The fried catfish and shrimp was perfectly lightly battered and well-seasoned and the crab legs were yummy, even the sides were good! So glad we stop there on our trip down south. If we're ever there again, we'll be back for sure and we'll sample some of the other items on the menu next time!

We stopped in for lunch, I had chicken livers & cheese grits, my husband had the taco lunch. It was all delicious & perfect! The staff was friendly & courteous. Highly recommend! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Our first visit here was very disappointing. Literally over half of their menu items were out, nothing I wanted to eat was available. We got some fried mushrooms for an appetizer there was like maybe 5 or 6 in the bowl and not even fabulous. Had some mediocre soup and a salad, my husband catfish was alright. Overall it was long ways from being worthy of another trip there. Service was decent. That is pretty much the best compliment I can muster up

When my birthday came this year, we had to find a place that might actually be open. We called the Lakewood Fish & Seafood House as it is one of our favorites. They were open and off we went. As usual, the place was great looking, and we were welcomed. They were short staffed that night, but honestly we wouldn't have known if they didn't tell us. They were attentive, the food came out at a perfect pace. The food was amazing! We had a wonderful time, and we will be going back again and again. The service was perfect, and we were so very happy with our choice. I cannot rave about them enough. If you are looking for great food, and great service, this place has them both!

Food was pretty good. We came during the middle of a thunderstorm so there weren’t a lot of customers in the dining room. Our first time here. 20 bucks for 2 crab cakes though is a bit pricey wouldn’t you say. ?? The waitress was OK but needs to learn how to talk and not act like a five-year-old on her first day in kindergarten. Might be back might not. Thanks !
