This is some of the best BBQ I have ever had in my life. There is a reason this place has so many BBQ championships. I had the full rack of ribs that was absolutely perfect, meat slid effortlessly off the bone. Their homemade bbq sauce is so fire. I will probably come back tomorrow, its that good.
The pulled Pork plate was excellent and very filling. The variety of BBQ sauces to try out just top it off. Great Mac & cheese as well.Will definitely be back when in town.
The BBQ was one of the worst I’ve had from a restaurant especially since they claim to be “world champion”. The ribs were so dry and overcooked that they resembled more jerky than ribs. The brisket had been sliced way earlier and it was so dry and mostly tasteless . Good thing they have several sauces on the tables to kinda make up for the dry bbq. The only think that was close to decent was the chicken, even though it was more like chicken casserole, I guess it was pulled Chicken, but not the expected grilled or smoked chicken. The sides were fairly decent , but that should not be the main or best part of a BBQ restaurant. I travel a lot and frequent BBQ establishments all over the country and I will put this one as the bottom of the list. I bet frozen BBQ from the freezer section is better than this. So disappointing.

We’ve used whole hog for years for catering. We used them last week and it was the worst catering experience of any company I’ve ever had. They did not provide buns or rolls and told us they stopped due to Covid and cost. I’m sorry but that is part of the product you are selling BARBECUE. If you are not going to provide that tell us that upfront or maybe raise your prices to cover it so I do not have 30 people excepting barbecue sandwiches and they just have meat. Also rudest people I’ve dealt with! Will not ever be back. You lost a lot of business with this catering order,
We were told about this restaurant from staff at the Visitor's Center when we mentioned BBQ. Being from NC we were looking forward to experiencing BBQ from Arkansas. They did not disappoint. We realized why they've won so many awards after dining there. You can see their trophies throughout the entire restaurant. Staff was very helpful when ordering. Food prepared and delivered quickly. Six different sauces to choose from. If you like BBQ - try this place!
We came based on previous reviews. Food was ok. We had the full slab dinner. Meat tasted good, but was a little more chewy than we anticipated - not falling off the bone which I am used to. Sauces were tasty, restaurant was clean, staff friendly.
My husband and I stopped in for a bite to eat this evening. We have driven thru Louisiana to Tennessee then now Arkansas and this has been the best food on our trip! We are from Odessa, TX. We were so impressed with the food and the service. When we come back this way we are definitely stopping back in!
The place was clean the food was delicious I rolled myself out with a happy full belly. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes down here
My first time trying this place, the pull pork sandwich very good. They offer six different BBQ Sauces on your table. The potato salad is very good too. The staff are friendly and offer suggestions what to try. I will come back on my next trip.
