The service was good. I ordered the lobster roll. I sked about it's source but the waiter didn't have an answer. But I said what ever I'll try it anyways.The portion was very small relative to any other rolls I had in different places. The taste/quality we're okay. Nothing wow here. Overall I was not satisfied with what I ordered specially it's a $30 roll. I guess you can't be too picky. I would go back to try the other stuff though
OMG!!! First time here and it was absolutely amazing!!! Beautiful environment and the staff was amazing!!! Mercedes is the best!!! ❤️ They management is amazing and very reasonable, I had a small discrepancy with my order and the manger made sure my guest and I were accommodated in the best way!! This is an amazing place for a date night out! Live band, great drinks, the food is absolutely exquisite!!!! Will be back again and again!!!! Wish I could give 10 stars!!!
I have been here a handful of times but failed previously to write a review. The Oyster Bar has been revamped, now a vibe where many want to go. All my meal experiences, including yesterday have been fabulous. Some of my choices have included shrimp poboy; combination basket; wood grill oysters. My favorite being wood grill oysters, takes me back to oysters in New Orleans and hand battered onion rings. I’ve had some of their specialty cocktails which are really good. Great overall dining experience, I will be back! ??
The atmosphere is very trendy amd inviting. The staff is wonderful. I ordered the grilled catfish and shrimp. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. The grits were amazing and I ordinarily do not eat them. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and said it was delicious. Other friends ordered oysters rockefeller and was so pleased. I recommend this establishment.
We had dinner there last night with a group of 8. We had a wonderful experience! The place was crowded but we had a reservation so we were seated quickly. We had a very attentive waitress and she kept our drinks filled! Then we had the mussels, calamari, and crab cake appetizer that were all delicious, and oysters of course! Then my husband and I had fried catfish and grilled grouper special and they were outstanding! We highly recommend and will be back! Thank you!
The server, Joel appeared to be very racist and wasn’t happy that he was serving us. He came to the table and in the midst of taking our order he kept sniffling until a little mucus started running out of his nose. He snapped at both my brother and I twice for asking questions about the menu. The fried okra was salty and the overall food was just not good at all. I went there because of the reviews but I left with a lost appetite and a bad picture of that establishment. Also, for such a big establishment they need better parking.
First time at The Oyster Bar in several years. Gumbo was fantastic, cheese grits perfect, really good fried oysters. Highly recommended.
Had dinner with another couple. The newer bar area it was easy to talk in, but the dining room was very loud. Staffing in the dining room paid the right amount of attention, so we never waited too long or were rushed. Disappointed they only had the very small Olympia oysters. The fish was fresh which was a pleasant surprise.
Decided to visit based off online reviews and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was nice and the servers were great.
Wow!!! Ordered a Seafood platter for two it was $55.00 it had fried Fish, Fried oysters, fried shrimp and onion rings and fries. Alot of food for two. Well worth the drive and money. Drinks were delicious. Our Waiter Devon was johnny on the spot. Great place to have a few drinks and or eat.
