I just discovered this local restaurant and am so impressed with the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. Patrons are easily served w/o feeling rushed. The food quality, appearence and taste are excellent.
After moving out of Little Rock years ago, we had a chance to come to LR so a stop at Palenque was a MUST. The chilaquiles Verdes Con Pollo are a family tradition for us and we did not disappoint. Remains the BEST all-round Mexican North of the border!
Not that I'm an expert but the food was authentic and the cultural influences on the decorations is a very nice touch. Delicious food. Server didn't seem very friendly however after working in the restaurant industry for a while I understand not every day is a great day. No hate for the young lady. Still enjoyed the visit

This place was recommended by a friend of my daughter. She’s Hispanic and is a wonderful cook. This is one of only 2 places she will go “ out to eat”! First time I had warm salsa with chips. Quite tasty! She and I both got the Bistek Ranchero, so I made a great choice. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Check your reciepts after signing and take photo with phone This has always been one of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants. I tell everyone about this place...example: my co worker who is new to town even went that night for dinner. My view point has changed. I got a to go order on Tuesday, after checking my bank account, they added an additional $3.50 tip to my check. I will never go back. I despise cheating and stealingz and as others have said, place is filthy long including the menus
