Jamie was our hostess and she was sweet and friendly! All other staff we encountered were lovely as well! Food was hot and fresh and delivered in a timely manner. Love eating here!
We have had generally great experiences at several different Tacos 4 Life locations in the past. And I hate to have to leave a poor review on a local favorite with a pretty good track record. This newer location has been just a bit sub-standard since the first day it opened, but we keep going back. Inconsistent but always at least passable. We went for a late dinner tonight (about 8:00 on a Friday night) and had not only a poor experience by T4L standards but one of the most disappointing dining experiences we have ever had anywhere. Certainly for the price. First, the good. Anna, who took our order and served us, was outstanding. Friendly, professional, just great. She'll be managing the store eventually, I feel confident. (She's why two stars instead of just one.) The food was just awful, though. I don't know how else to say it. Well, to be fair, the guacamole was pretty good. We both had entrees with grilled chicken and it was tough and dried out. And cold. Much of it was simply inedible. Cold rice. And chips that were the fragments that you have left at the bottom of the bag. I could go on. My wife went and spoke to the manager in her usual polite way, explaining both how great Anna was and how bad our food was. His response? "Yeah, sorry. We're trying to figure out how to keep the chicken from drying out like that. Thanks for your input. Please be sure to go online and leave a good review about Anna." So, basically, you know you're serving inedible food but that's just how it goes? Sure, it was late, close to closing time, I get it. Good restaurants consistently serve quality food, regardless of the time of day. But that may explain why the Mexican restaurant down the road we couldn't get into because it was too crowded is booming on Friday night, but this T4L had only a couple of customers besides us. It would appear maybe people are voting with their feet and dollars and choosing not to patronize this particular T4L location. We will not return anytime soon.
I was taken care of today by 2 young fantastic workers. D Fregia and J Freeman - good job fellas and keep up the good work!
I was greeted promptly upon arrival at the drive thru window from Jamie! She was incredibly Sweet and patient when helping me understand some of the menu options. I would definitely recommend this spot! Especially, Jamie with her excellent customer service!
It was awesome, Jamie Henson took care of us and she did an excellent job and was very helpful, she even came around and asked how we were doing!
This is my first visit to Tacos 4 Life that I came away disappointed. I ordered the Korean BBQ tacos and strangely the two tacos were quite different from one another. The first one I ate was warm at best and the beef a little chewy. The second was still tasty and hot when I ate it. Strange. The meat was tender, but there must have been about 10X the Korean BBQ sauce than the first. All my previous visits would have been 4-star visits with a fifth star automatically given for their corporate practice of providing a meal to hungry children around the world for every meal sold in each of their restaurants.
The food is great! They offer fun tacos with plenty of vegetarian options (I chose the seared tofu taco and fried eggplant, both of which were great). We also love how you can mix and match tacos. The proceeds go to help feed those in need, so although the prices are somewhat high, the money goes to a good place. Jez helped us out, and she was very helpful and friendly!
Every single time I order from them, they get my order wrong. I have a dairy allergy and I specifically say no dairy and they still put dairy on my orders. I try to give them a chance because their company is for a good cause, but they seriously need to pay attention to orders. The people are always nice, so I will give them that.
i checked in curbside 15 minutes after i ordered. a man was super rude to me on the phone and said my order will be out when it’s ready. i waited over 30 min before someone came out to see if i even had an order. he returned with a bag that had boxes thrown in sideways, no napkins, and all the food inside was cold. if you’re gonna handout coupons for curbside ordering, at least have decent service. thanks.
I recently visited the West Little Rock location. The quality of the ingredients, the taste, and the service, is excellent. And, they have a good mission.
