SO is sooooo good! Always consistent.

We had a fabulous meal with excellent service. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

First time I have been back in several months. Service was much improved. Several items on the menu were not available due to a truck that didn't arrive. Filet, ordered at medium rare, was overcooked and tough. This is a beautiful restaurant with tons of potential that has slipped considerably over the years. I hope they can turn it around.

The French onion soup was the bomb!!!! So awesome. The Caesar salad was a bit fishy, not a fan of all the anchovies. The gnocchi was not good, Over cooked dumplings w/ an off putting sauce. Person that ordered the duck breast was pleased as were the two that split the seafood fondue. I would try it again, and the specialty cocktails were really good.

Tony, our host, was excellent as was Bill. They helped us enjoy the birthday occasion and the meals were amazing!

Our party of four waited over 1 1/2 hours for our entrees. Three out of four were not up to SO standards. We have considered SO as one of our favorite places to dine in Little Rock for years. Pretty certain it was a staffing problem and we will be back.

They were short handed on Mother'd Day. Waiter was very nice and worked hard to make us happy, but probably overworked due to the staffing issue. I think he is normally a bartender. Food was OK not great for the price paid - Steak was bland. There were other discrepancies that we can overlook given the staffing issue, but now reviewing my Credit card statement, I was charged 2x... So charged almost $300 for sub-par fine dining. Every call I've made goes to voicemail.

My family and I went to So to celebrate my daughter’s 24th birthday. We wanted it to be a special night since she came back home to visit us. I made a reservation for 6:30pm and we were seated promptly. It was stifling hot in the dining area. We are all thin people who are cold natured and were still hot. We asked to taste some wine and the taster had gone to vinegar (maybe from the heat?) We asked to taste a different wine and were brought the same vinegar. So, we ordered something different than either. It turned out to be good. There were 1 soup and 2 salads on the menu. One duck dish, one chicken, 2 steaks, 2 fish. We ordered 1 of the salads - after ordering, the waiter apologized that they were out leaving 1 salad option. They were out of soup as well. Two of us ordered the chicken and the waiter said they only had 1 left so that was another order that had to be modified. They charged $6 for plain bread. By 8pm after all the menu changes we finally got our dinner. When we asked about dessert they only had two options. The waiter acknowledged our daughter’s birthday, but they did nothing for her…no complementary piece of cake or anything special. Just very disappointed overall with this restaurant and I won’t go back. Hot, horrible night club sounding music, with a limited and sparse menu. Food was just okay. $$$

Cons: -Waited 1:45hrs for food to arrive. -Veggies were way over cooked and burnt. -Not the best cheese platter -Wait staff look stressed and probably short staff. Pros: -Clean & Attractive interior -Staff very polite and visited the table often
