We just came back from eating at Sams Southern Eatery. We stumbled upon it when looking for a place to eat. We are from the Kansas City area staying in Little Rock tonight on our way to New Orleans. Sams food is some of the best I have had in a very long time. They really take pride in what they serve. I had the chicken tenders (delicious), okra that was cooked to perfection. Mac& Cheese was very good. My husband had the fried chicken wings, red beans & rice and also Okra. We wanted to try the chicken gizzards so we ordered a half order. These were the best gizzards I have ever had. All in all this was an excellent dining experience and everyone working there was so pleasant. If you decide to give Sams a try, I know you will not be disappointed. Everything that was coming out to other tables looked so good. I saw plates of catfish being delivered to the table behind us and it looked so good. This place is 5 star all the way. Enjoy !!!!!!!
We've always felt like we got our $$ worth at Sam's. But yesterday ordered wings and was very disappointed since they have gone to a much smaller wings about half the size as before. Wasnt happy with that yesterday
The food is good. I don't like the fact that the four piece catfish steak dinner consists of 3 catfish steaks and 1 fish tail. Also the cashier with all the facial piercings is super, extra rude and very unprofessional every time I visit which was a lot!!! Needless to say now I get my jumbo grilled shrimp @ Blue Dolphins. You get great service with a smile and more for your money
This is my go to place for eating out. The food is always great and the service is exceptional. Everyone there is friendly and helpful.
Spaghetti and meatballs were not good. And with such a big bowl of pasta there should have been more than one peice of bread!
Apparently some people like it because they had quite a bit of vehicles in the parking lot that's one thing I do go off of if you see a lot of cars in the parking lot it must be good. But for me it just didn't have enough flavor not enough salt not enough soul for me
The food was awesome the service was great!! Best of all it wasn't expensive ill be back!
So I had the grilled jumbo shrimp it was simply amazing the chicken is delicious as well everything cooked to order friendly service great for lunch or dinner
It wasmy 1st visit & I was NOT PLEASED AT ALL !!! I ordered JUMBO ""FRIED"" SHRIMP DINNER & CATFISH ""FRIED"" DINNER & they BOTH were NOWHERE near ""FRIED""...thin layer batter that fell off on first bite....NO SEASONING AT ALL !!!! OKRA was SOGGY FRIED also !!!.NO NAPKINS....NO SILVERWARE...NO SAUCES !!!!.I spent $25.67 for total DISAPOINTMENT !!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!
Didn’t get part of my order and their phone is not accepting calls so I have no way to try to remedy this. Can’t leave the house to go there because I have sick family membersEdit: was finally able to get in contact with them and they gave us a partial refund
