All time favorite place in Little Rock! Excellent service. Always a warm welcome. The food is awesome here especially the panner and shrimp appetizer I love it.
We had the most wonderful experience! Our food was absolutely incredible and our service was superb. My son and I are fairly new to Indian cuisine and curious. Our waiter took us on a tour of India - he was very helpful recommending dishes and paired our appetizer, naan, and desserts with our main course. He listened to the types of things we like and gave us excellent recommendations. I really appreciate him taking the time to explain different things on the menu. The food was incredibly fresh and prepared perfectly. The portions were large and we each had leftovers. Our waiter explained the best way to reheat it the next day to bring the flavors and quality out, and just as he said, our curry was just as wonderful the next day! I give Safron and their staff my highest recommendation! You will not be disappointed.
Finally! A proper restaurant for good Indian Cuisine in Little Rock. Diverse staff and diverse patronage made for a rich experience the evening we were there. Ranjit, our server, was appropriately respectful and most helpful. And the food we were able to take home has added variety to our home cooked meals during the week. This restaurant is a great resource, it will save us time in the kitchen, and we shall be back!
Food was delicious!! So many options!
First time to Saffron. Wonderful experience. The food was excellent! Our server Ranjit was a pleasure. After our meal we inquired about a mango yogurt drink they offer. He gave us a sample and we will definitely be ordering it next time. I definitely recommend Saffron
We visit Indian restaurants frequently all over the country as we travel a lot. Decided to try this place on July 4 around 2pm. The server dropped menus off and we did not see him for about 10 minutes. He did not ask us for our drink other either. He then came and I wanted to order an appetizer and two glasses of wine. He rudely told us they were closing at 2h30 and pressured us into just choosing something. We should probably have stood up right there and left. We ordered appetizers, two glasses of red wine and just chose the main course on the fly. Took ten minutes to see the wine. We did not see anything until 20 minutes later when the main course was put down without our appetizers or naan we ordered. I then asked for another two glasses of wine where he then had the audacity to tell me they take no more orders. He then went outside into the parking lot taking smoke and dropping his cigarette but on the pavement. That is when we decided to take our food to go and leave. Do yourself a favor. Go to Star of India instead. Friendly professional service and better tasting food plus they make real naan!
Amazing Food. My husband and I are always up to try new foods and Ranjit has great recommendations.
This is a really good little Indian buffet spot tucked away in a strip mall. I've been here 3 times and on each visit the menu was slightly different. I got to try the butter chicken, chicken masala, goat curry, tandoori chicken, fried fish, veggie pakoras, biryiani and a few other dishes I'd never heard of. There's also a few dessert items and naan bread. Pretty much everything is good. The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is their customer service, or lack thereof. Nobody greets you when you walk in. I went to the counter and said I was there for the buffet. They said just grab a plate and sit where you like. Nobody ever came to ask what I wanted to drink. I asked a waiter who was passing by for some water and he pointed to a self-serve water jug in the corner. He did leave a carafe of water on the table and brought me a cup but that was the end of any service. I never got a check so I just went up to the counter and paid for 1 buffet.Bottom line is I'll definitely go back and I do recommend this place but just know that you won't get much service.
Super delicious food! Friendly customer service. We made it in time to enjoy the buffet and it was amazing! Lots of people and the food was always hot. Definitely recommend!!! Nice selection of dishes. They had my husband’s favorite and my teenager discovered a lot of new favorites. Also recommend the mango lassi.
Delicious food. Takes FOREVER to get it. Visited 4 weeks ago and waited 45 minutes for meal with only two other tables with customers. Last week waited 62 minutes under same circumstances. Will be eating Indian food elsewhere.
