This is the best sushi hands down since I move to little rock a year ago. I didnt have a bad roll. So good. My server was very nice and friendly too and the service was fast.Now while I am giving this review 5 stars I do want to warn you a little. The neighborhood where this place is looks nice eneugh but there's a lot of riff raff on the street and almost the moment we got out of the car we started to get accosted. My gut tells me this is one of those neighborhoods that gets more dangerous the closer it gets to sundown.But with all that being said if you go I don't think you will be dissatisfied. This was some damn good sushi
Placed a to-go order in-store and they brought it out to my car. Got home and half the order wasn’t there. Called 7 times and the phone rang for more than 10 minutes. Drove back to the restaurant and pulled up my bank statement showing the date, time and amount I paid less than an hour before. I didn’t ask for a refund- just wanted the missing items that I paid for. She tried to look up my order in the system but couldn’t find it even though I pulled up the charge in my banking app and showed her the exact amount charged to my card. I could see on her computer the amount of each purchase displayed so I know that information was accessible. She told me they wouldn’t give me my missing food (2 sides of fried rice and a side of shrimp - like I’m really going to scam them over that) since they couldn’t find my receipt. The woman who (did not actually) help me was the same woman who brought the food to my car. Best part is while I was there waiting on her to find my receipt, two customers called and were upset about orders and she did nothing to help and ended the conversation by CHUNKING the phone down on a table. Seems mistakes, terrible customer service, and zero responsibility is a pattern ? I ended up leaving because that food was not worth wasting more of my time. Definitely understand mistakes being made because we are humans and that’s life. But the absolute lack of responsibility or desire to fix THEIR mistakes is baffling to me. They went a little overboard on the rock and roll and didn't focus as much on the sushi. This place isn't bad, but almost all the options are spicy. Not very kid friendly since it is dark, kinda pricey, and most things are spicy. They are changing their signature drink up, so be sure to check if you are getting the old whiskey variation or the newer fruity one. The staff were attentive, but mostly about their new drink concoctions and recipes. If you like spicy mayo and such definitely check it out. If you prefer to taste the actual fish in the sushi move along.
Excellent food, attentive and friendly service, and awesome rock music and music videos playing in the background! Fun atmosphere and would definitely recommend!
Just left, the waitress was was really pushy came to our booth every minute until we ordered food. Just wanted a glass of wine and look at the menu since we had never been. Ordered two rolls they are ok and an order of fried rice, the fried rice was frozen rice just reheated. We had our dinner, nothing special. The waitress came to clear the plates and dropped them and soy sauce and maybe wine not sure went everywhere (things happen) she felt bad and got me some more wine in another glass I had less than a 1/4 of glass left no big deal. The kicker was she left the mess on the table a lot of soy sauce everywhere and then took forever to get our check and never cleaned the mess on the table. That was it for me a little more than a 1/4 of the table a mess with soy and no thought to wipe it up. Hoping we could add another restaurant to our list, sadly no. I tried to wipe some of it up with the only napkin we had left.
This place was so fun! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was super neat and the food was delicious. We got the app sampler and could not get enough of those tasty little bites! My daughter got the kids teriyaki chicken and fried rice. We agreed that the rice was the best we had ever eaten!! For rolls, we landed on the The Sweet Home Alabama (since we are from Alabama ?) and the Jailhouse. We all agreed that there is too much breading on the fried rolls. This is the reason I couldn’t go 5 star… it was sort of gummy and just overtook the roll. I wish we had tried a roll that wasn’t breaded and intend to come back and do that soon. Overall everything was delicious. The flavor combinations were so cool! Thanks for a great experience ❤️
Mr. Jason M. was our water and he was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! That is what I call customer service!!! Great food, great environment!!!! 100% recommend
Every bite was absolutely amazing. Started with the appetizer sampler, then ordered 4 rolls and couldn't eat another bite. So we had fried cheesecake for dessert!Cocktails were wonderful and service was top notch.
I haven't had a bad experience here at all even after visiting both locations in Little Rock. The TVs were not working at the Main street location which was a let down and the music was not clear and sounded muffled in the front for it to be enjoyed. We still had a good time though and the food was excellent. The main street location is a little grittier, kinda place I would imagine seeing a metal band play whereas the Chenal location is more a bit modern, not near as dark and has that new vibe. It actually works for these guys to NOT have both places the same in an odd way. Either way the food is excellent and the service has been really good.
Great service and sushi. Drinks were hit or miss but the atmosphere was unique and fun.
