Went for dinner last night. The smell of the dumpster noticeable at the front door should have been a sign to get back in the car. Trash was on the floor at the entrance and that continued throughout the store. While trying to order someone from the kitchen staff came out and was trying to have a personal conversation with the cashier, who thankfully told her to wait until she was done with the order. The food was terrible. A grilled cheese is pretty difficult to foul up but it was bad enough my son wouldn't touch it. My wife was disappointed with her meal as well. All the while, there was an unattended child sitting across from us with a tablet screaming and blaring music from his tablet. I would bet he was an employee's child. Definitely will not be in a Panera Bread again.
The food is always great in taste. Only complaint is how expensive it is for such small portions. Who can afford to eat here? A drink, small salad, small soup over $20. Ridiculous.
Omg chocolate croissants are an absolute MUST.... otherwise the turkey bacon sandwich and Mac and cheese was great! Staff was lovely, no complaaints.complaints.. I was so full and satisfied! (At the Kanis location about 2pm)
The floors were very sticky. Windows and doors were dirty. Bathrooms were filthy. Bathroom floors were sticky. Had to wipe down our table ourselves. Also had to clean and sanitize the high chair we used before putting our grandchild in it.No dark roast coffee. The teenage cashier said they were out of coffee beans. It’s 9:30 AM on Sunday morning and there’s no coffee beans! I almost told them they could find some at the Starbucks next door, but since there were only teens working at this store I said nothing. No manager in sight. No adults in sight. Will take the extra gas and time to go to University if I decide to eat breakfast at Panera. It’s really sad that I’m writing this review because we like Panera as a bakery and sandwich shop.
I encountered what may be the rudest person I've ever delt with in my life at this location. She acted in such a hurry as our group ordered in the drive through and didn't repeat anything back it's no wonder she screwed up our order. Then when I had to go back inside to tell them what we were missing and what was wrong she insisted she didn't make a mistake and acted like I was lying to try to get free food. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Service was awful, maybe good for young people who want not contact with people but when I can afford to go out i would like to have a nice person come to my table and take my order. Maybe that's the old way but I was disappointed. Food was ok... bread was great!
I ordered choose 2 green goddess salad and half BBQ chicken sandwich. Food was great. It took a while to get the Cafe Latte.
Had a man pacing back and forth and sitting at several different tables, staring at everyone. Made it really uncomfortable to sit down and enjoy breakfast with my mom and son. We had to get up immediately after receiving our order and leave.
I ordered a greek bowl at the drive through. After a few minutes, an employee came to the window and asked if I wanted a salad or a bowl. I said bowl, again. They proceeded to tell me that I ordered it wrong and I should have said Mediterranean. A few minutes later, she came back to tell me I'd have to wait because I ordered it wrong. While waiting, someone else came to the window to explain that I ordered it wrong and next time I should say Mediterranean. Last time I checked, Greece was in the Mediterranean and bowl always means bowl. It's not that hard to figure out. The attitude wasn't necessary, and I got a bowl of rice for $15. Definitely won't be going back.
The pros; the bagel, and coffee. The cons ; price, and everything else. Definitely was more pricy that it was worth. The Asiago bagel was the standout. The egg and sausage was bland. But all in all it was edible. Where it tanked was on the breakfast chicken wrap. The chicken was so nasty and cold, I had to throw the chicken out. This was my first Panera experience and I can say, unless it’s for coffee and a bagel, I wouldn’t come back again.
