Thanks Mickey Cakes & Sweets for my beautiful 40th anniversary wedding cake. It was beautifully decorated and tasted fantastic!
The cake was delicious. But I made a mistake asking for buttercream I guess? The cake did not last 1 hour before being ruined. The people were pretty rude from the moment we walked in maybe because were colored or because we're young parents? Also they're not licensed for copyright and seemed almost offended that I even asked for a cartoon character theme. I'm not a cake expert but I was extremely disappointed with my son's first birthday cake. I couldn't even take pictures and was embarrassed ?
Mickey's has been making great baked goods for a lot of years, and I have always enjoyed them.I ran into a problem on my most recent visit. They have adopted a "no cash" policy and accept only electronic payments. This is fine for the majority of customers, but not everyone has a bank account or can qualify for a credit card. They have their own reasons for not accepting legal tender at their store, but it will cost them some business, including mine.
I highly recommend Mickey’s for all your bakery needs. Not only are their cakes delicious but the customer service is outstanding. We had a mishap last minute situation and I called to see if they could help me in a pinch and they bent over backwards to help me out very last minute and saved the day. I will always be so grateful for how wonderful they were. Not to mention the cake was absolutely spot on and gorgeous.
This was my first time ordering from Mickey’s and I was very disappointed. The communication was superb but the total service was a disappointment. The serving of the cake was for 100 people and we understood that the design we wanted on the cake would cost a little more. We paid $600 for a 3 tier cake and paid extra to add real flowers on top the cake as shown below. The cake was very moist but the flavor did not taste the best for the price that we paid. I expected a better service from this company. I would not recommend ordering from here. You can get better service and pricing at other local stores such as Sam’s and Kroger. I do not want to discredit anyone but this place should hire experienced bakers thats creative and can decorate especially for the amount of monies they charge their customers for dessert.
In October of 2020 I ordered a groom's cake and gave the baker a few pictures to go off on. It was supposed to be a New York skyline with a silhouette of Spiderman swinging. So all black, white, and gray. I picked it up, it was already boxed and there was no way of really looking at it. When it was unboxed I assumed someone untrained fixed it. All they gave me was a bunch of squares, no images of the New York sky line with a image of Spiderman's PlayStation box art superimposed on the cake. The cake was edible at best. Thank goodness I had an Etsy cake topper that improved the look. My biggest issue was the price. If I could post pictures I would, Mickey's cakes cost me a whopping 245.00 dollars for a two tier cake. My wedding cake was a three tier, all around better tasting cake I spent 60.00 dollars on at Sam's club. Save your money because at that point I paid so much for a sheet cake that can easily superimpose an image onto a cake for twenty bucks!
Easy to order online and my cupcakes were ready on time. They look and smell amazing. Can’t wait to have them at my sister’s bridal shower. Strawberry cupcakes with strawberry cream cheese icing.
Perfect cake for my niece's birthday. We asked for chef inspired elements and Mickey's made a chef jacket cake, cutting board cake, cookbook cake, fondant elements of peppers, onions, chicken, and chef knife. It was also delicious!
Mickey's cakes did not disappoint. I needed a smash cake for my 1 year old at the last minute. Not only were they able to accomodate me, but they also exceeded my expectations. I placed the order online and they called the next day to not only confirm, but also make suggestions. Also the cake was very yummy. Everyone loved it. Will definitely use them again!
Mickey's has been making birthday, graduation, and anniversary cakes for my family for over twenty years. Their cakes are consistently delicious and beautiful and the customer service is excellent. They really do go above and beyond. I've tried a couple of other bakeries over the years and I always come back to Mickey's. Wish I could show you a pic of this last cake they did. OMG it was gorgeous!
