Ice cream was great, but totally overpriced. In addition, they barely ran the air conditioning, & it was hot inside.
Ice cream is good, and kids like it, been here many times. Do agree with other reviews that customer service could be improved. We never got "disrespected", as others described, but their overall disinterested behavior would make more sense in a roadside diner at 3am rather than an ice cream store on a sunny summer day. But, as I mentioned, ice cream is good.
This place was great ages ago. But the past couple of times we visited, the apparent owner or manager was SO blatantly disrespectful, dismissive & downright rude, we put a kabosh on it. In addition to scoffing at my family when we asked about the chocolate-fudge-type flavor we used to order not being in the case (maybe it had not been stocked in a while? We still don’t know why our question warranted that response), his reply to my daughter was the straw breaking the camel’s back and we have not been back in over a year. In a very respectful and courteous tone (because she was raised by me and knows better. Plus, she works with public & gets what he obviously doesn’t: that’s your bread and butter??), asked if she could see the nutrition facts guide. She’s an athlete, was trying to weigh her options. He rolled his eyes, sneered at her and told her he did not have to supply those. Kinda feel that’s not accurate?It just popped back into my mind as we walked past it and noticed how nasty the windows were, the outside seating, how run down the overall appearance of it all was - there was a faded Easter poster hanging at the door…. Go buy a couple cans of spray paint for those metal seating - it would make such a difference?! But also glancing in as strolling past & see him in an obvious rant, irately waving hands at a frightened looking employee. We frequent the Promenade shopping center all. The. Time. It’s very sad that this is no longer a viable option for a sweet treat. We will happily take our business to Baskin-Robbins Just sad.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!Visited for the first time today to treat my 4 year old grandson to his favorite ice cream . It was quite evident that the young lady behind the counter did not want to serve us despite greeting her. We walked in the store around 12:05pm as soon as they opened. The shades were drawn and all the ice cream was covered with foil and no one at the Counter. Not inviting at all. We were met with silence and a glare from a young lady appearing from the back room as though we were a bother. I bought my grandson his ice cream because I didn't want to disappoint him but I will never visit this place again.
This is the double scoop with brownie as my “add-in.” Not mixed up like it’s supposed to be. The man who works there seems to try to give the smallest scoops possible. He has done this twice. I once went when there was a younger kid, maybe his son, who gave normal sized scoops and better customer service. We hope every time we go that we won’t get the older man.
Drove all the way from Jacksonville to your location with family visiting from out of town so our kids could get majestic shakes. The girl that was working didnt know how to make them which was super disappointing as they are advertised all over your store. They tried to order waffle cones only to be told the ones they wanted were not available. We finally settled on a treat and the girl working who was new and working alone, didn't wash her hands or wear gloves while making our order. Very disappointing.
