Came for mothers day when the doors opened at 5.30. 3 tables seated and the server takes over 20 minutes to come to our table to take the drink order. We got the cheese fries with salsa and they were very tasty. The server came 1 time in over an hour and I had to ask for drinks at the bar because I was without one for so long. The food came about 1hr 20 minutes later, The pot roast was ok, not enough mash and they didnt butter the bread. The potatos (new potatos) were ok. My husband got bell pepper soup and squash casserole and he said they were fine. This trip ruined my day. The manager did compensate for the troubles, but as nice as she was, it couldnt overcome the bad time. The creme brulee was absolutely disgusting. It was boiling hot (supposed to be a cold desser) oily, mushy hot I don't know what. My first choice was marscapone cake but they ran out. Safe to say I cant go back there because I was emotionally drained (hard enough day for me already without extra stress), the cheese fries and manager is good and thats it for us.
LOVE IT! Amazing service with good wine selection. Our roasted potatoes came out cold and was replaced immediately with no questions asked. The crab cakes were soft and moist and the sauce was excellent. The salmon had a cranberry glaze on top that was delicious, I mean seriously never thought it would pair but it does. Stew potatoes were the amazing. For a date night we spent right about a hundred dollar with tip.
We usually pop in here for drinks and dessert. The blueberry lemon meringue cake is delicious and I order it every time.
Was there last Sunday night. Got there at 5:30 was seated and ordered our food. There were 4 of us. Waitress was very nice. Took orders. She finally brought drink order 20 minutes later, an hour and a half passed. NO FOOD! Said something to waitress. I ask where were the restrooms and she said follow me as she was going to check on our order. This was my first ( and probably last) trip to restaurant. She was telling the manager that some people had waited 11/2 hours and no food. ( there were other tables waiting also). I was standing there as he informed me that no ticket was that old!???. We got there at 5:30. It was after 7. Do the math! Must say food was very good when we finally received it but manager was so rude.
Used to be...I was excited to dine at LL, as it had been a number of years since I've stepped foot in this place. Unfortunately, what used to be my favorite place to eat in LR, is now sadly disappointing. Maybe it was a bad night, but my meal was sub par. I ordered the pot roast. The meat was tough and dry. The mashed potatoes were runny, like a cream of potato soup texture. No amount of beef jus was going to cover the dry texture of the meat, and it only made the "soupy" mash potatoes more runny. Obviously it's time to find a new LR favorite. ?? ?? ?? #buonappetito
The brunch was amazing. I had a traditional breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, and grits. It's was delicious. The chicken and waffles are yummy too. Got there when they opened on a Sunday and people were waiting in line for the doors to open. Definitely will return soon.
Old little restaurant with a cozy place vibe. The atmosphere is very inviting. The staff are friendly but I was with a firmer employee who they knew.My table was not cleaned prior to us being seated.I ordered the award winning cheeseburger with house chips and I was underwhelmed to say the least. I ordered medium well, my burger came out over cooked it was over well done. House chips cold, bacon on burger was hard as a brick. Too much cheese on my burger. Just a big dry, unseasoned piece of ground beef, on a big dry bun. Not good at all.If I were to eat here again I will order a salad.
One of my favorite places to in when I visit little rock. The biscuits are melt in your mouth good! I really enjoy the atmosphere and the pineapple mimosa!
Visiting Arkansas & luckily this place was open on Christmas Eve; & The food was delicious! At least the pot roast I had. I was skeptical at first but it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and great food. Highly recommend. Meghan was very lovely as well (give her a raise)
Service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. I had the Penne Alfredo with a lobster/crab cake on top. I will be back if I visit the area again!
