We were driving through Little Rock on our 11 day road trip, we’re just in town to stop at a coffee shop and drove past this place and thought it looked so cute and very local. The atmosphere seemed. Nice and chill and we could relax at our pit stop. Unfortunately, when we sat down the waiter did not come up to us for about 10 mins maybe more, took our food and drink order and then brought our drinks super fast. The food…not so much. After 35 mins of waiting my husband went inside to see what was going on, they said it would be our soon and our order was next up. We’ll another 10 mins pass by and I basically was done and asked my husband to go and cancel. When he went inside the person had a bit of tude and said I have your order right here. Well if they knew how long why wouldn’t they bring it out asap?We ordered chicken gyros, and not sure what we got. We got a pita with tzaziki and basically thick grilled chicken that was so not good. We ordered a side of fries with feta, which we enjoyed and the only reason we’re giving this place a generous 2 stars. Don’t call it a gyro, don’t waste your time. Maybe come for a drink and the atmosphere, don’t expect great service. We were really disappointed as we were SO excited to eat our favorite cuisine. Please correct your service and be respectful.
I really wanted to give this place a high rate. We came before the lunch crowd and ordered a full meal. It took 40 min to find out that our ticket was not submitted or lost. many folks who came after us were served the food. The express prepared complementary French fries (after the staff realized there is no food for us) were soft if not to say undercooked, which made me feel uncomfortable for the rest of my day and during the pm flight. Sorry guys, but I cannot give you more than two stars. The 75c PBR is the only good memory which I will keep from the visit.
5 stars just for having 75¢ PBR’s!!! Food has always been great. Wonderful outside seating with fresh flowers on the tables!
Leo’s was on my list of restaurants to visit in LR. I walked in with 2 other guests and we were immediately asked if we had masks. We said no, is that a problem? She just replied with “sorry” in a hateful tone and looked down. In that small eating area, there was 4 people eating without masks. So I suppose if we did have masks, we could have taken them off after walking 3 steps to sit down. Very sad and frustrating.
Leo's, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, is never a disappointment. I'm a huge fan of the breakfast options (add some gyro meat if it doesn't already come with it talk about /bomb/ tasty)--especially the omelets... But, they already have the meat, so #winning. And, you can't go wrong with the country breakfast. The gyros platter or pita/sandwich are what you'd expect, but better, with tomatoes, onions and feta, dressed with their delicious tzatziki--and it packs that flavor punch like an entire wardrobe going into a suitcase. It is /all/ there--and delicious!!Also, whether it's breakfast or whatever time you decide to much, the babaganoush and hummus absolutely slap. Don't--wait, let me repeat--DON'T MISS OUT BY SKIMPING ON THE APPETIZERS.No matter what time of day, Leo's is sure to satisfy.
Very nice surprise… best little hole in the wall experience for a very long time. Gyro Greek salad fantastic they even tossed an egg on top for my breakfast. Tristan’s falafel was amazing. Great flavors, all fresh and our server was very friendly. First visit and felt like family. Many veggie head offerings. Thank you Leo’s we will be back.
I had the club sandwich and their yummy seasoned fries. It was delicious and ready for takeout fairly quickly. Next time I'm trying a Gyro.
Love this small local place, and the Pabst Blue Ribbon cans are still $0.75 each. Had a great gyro plate on the last visit.
What a find!!! I drove down this way to walk in Allsop Park. Kept walking down the street to find myself on Historic Hillcrest. Walked by Leo's and knew I had to stop. Love me some gyros! These did not disappoint. The gyro is large and very filling. The meat is fresh and tasty. Veggies are fresh and crunchy. Great outdoor seating, lights and ambiance. Get here if you are in the area.
Dine in area was pretty small. This is definitely a take out kinda restaurant. The food was ok.
