Okay, we moved here from Louisiana and we have been trying to find a cajun or close to cajun place to go eat at.... this was pretty darn close! The food was so delicious! We still make the best gumbo and etoufee in our kitchen as any good cajun should but this was great! The food had flavor, spice and just all around great presentation. We would definitely come back!
Awesome burger. Great fish. Chill little "hole in the wall" atmosphere. They sell beer by the bottle and don't take themselves too seriously. It's a solid spot and a great place to grab to go or grab a quick bite to eat in.
The food is over priced for what they are serving. Catfish was crunchy and the grits were dry. All of the staff seemed irritated from customers walking in. A lady came in and complained about her recent purchase and the cashier didn’t try to correct the situation. She instead called the owner or manager and she arrived looking like she was ready to have a physical altercation with the complaining customer. This was my 1st and last trip to this restaurant.
My wife and I stopped by Lazy Pete’s tonight for our first visit…. Food and prices absolutely amazing. We got a variety of foods from catfish, wings, beans, corn and all of it was top notch. Place had a cool low light vibe inside. Will definitely be back! Thanks Staff!
Looking at some of the reviews I had high hopes, but was sadly disappointed. Went in at noon, prime lunch on a Saturday.15 dollars for 5 shrimp and 3 catfish was a good price, I’ll leave them that. The shrimp were good as were the fries and hush puppies. But the catfish I got should have been priced at 4 bucks because it was some of the murkiest, dirtiest catfish I’ve had in years. Utterly disappointed, won’t be back
I love their catfish! Their fries and okra are hand cut and so fresh and good. This is our favorite place to eat catfish so far in Little Rock.
When this restaurant 1st opened Around 7 or 8 years ago, their food was something to brag about. But the last time I went there, I noticed a huge difference in their prices and the amount of food you get for your money. Tonight due to a serious craving for fried catfish and the lack of catfish restaurants to choose from in Little Rock, I made the mistake of giving them another try. Their customer service was just as poor as their food. You don't get greeted nor thanked for buying their overpriced food. For $14, I purchased a 3 piece catfish basket just to get this kids meal. ? I do not plan on visiting their restaurant again.

A surprising amount of options on the menu. Everything ordered was good. Booth seating was a little rough, but that's cosmetic and didn't impact our food order.
I absolutely love Lazy Pete's! If you're looking for good Cajun food in Little Rock, look no further. They have gumbo, étouffée, blackened chicken, so many different types of the po' boy sandwich, and so much more. My personal favorite is their crayfish étouffée. So again, if great Cajun food is your dish, Lazy Pete's is definitely for you.
