My husband and I when in for dinner and I love eating fish, but I was disappointed on the price for the quality. We paid 30 dollars it wasn't 30 dollars worth of food on the plate, look like we had a kid's meal. And the older lady , she was mean mugging us because we came in at 4 and they closed at 5 and really didn't want to set us. I know prices have gone up on everything, but give me quality service and quality food and I'll paid quality money. 《Will not go back!!!!》
Been a moment since I've been there, used to go really regularly and I find that the service and food are still on point. Same people, same setup , really good food.
I'm a southern boy from Nashville tennessee. I love catfish, grits, coleslaw fried carp and Buffalo. This restaurants preparation of fried Buffalo have me cleaning the big bones and not encounter one small bone at tall. Simply the BEST!
The best fish in the state of Arkansas. Hot, fresh, and seasoned perfectly!!!! The only place I’ll go for fish!
Omg, this place brought back SO MANY wonderful memories. The best fried buffalo fish I have had in my life, it has been at least over 50 years since I’ve eaten fried buffalo fish and now oh my gosh I think I may have to go back every day of my trip. Keep doing what you’re doing because you all are great at it! My mom and dad who are no longer here loved fried buffalo and it was a treat to have it so thank you for the memories.
Got invited out service made it clear their priority was black customers our table was a group of 5. While our friend was black he also was ignored for sitting at a table of mostly white guys. We had to get up and refill our own drinks at one point, fish was raw in the middle and when we complained they refused to take off the price of the two plates of raw fish. Never coming back
Medium catfish combo w 2 sides. The slaw wasn't good. Tasted like mayo n cabbage. The fish is always good
I visited Arkansas and ate here once.. LOVED IT. I moved back here about 4 months ago.. CAN'T CATCH THE PLACE OPEN!! I see online is open, go over and it's ALWAYS closed.
Great food, especially the Buffalo fish ribs. It’s like having dinner in someone’s home, they greeted and treated everyone like family. Can’t wait to go back for some more, but this time I’m getting the combination with Buffalo fish ribs and farm raised catfish fillets. Loved the fried okra and Cole slaw. Just like being at my grandmas house, lots of love in this place. Don’t have photos because I didn’t think of it until had half the meal. Lol…it was just that good.
Possibly the best catfish in the city. It's an intimate and friendly spot. Charmingly old school. Don't let the exterior fool you it's great inside. The awards pictured show I am not exaggerating! They have adapted well to the COVID precautions.
