The drinks were mediocre. They tasted like fruit juice. The food was even worse. Fajitas were bare from seasoning, sour cream, vegetables, etc. The wait staff were noncompliant and we had about 6 different servers throughout our 30 minute stay. It just wasn’t what I thought it would be. Google reviews said they had the best margaritas, that simply isn’t true. I’d rather eat at Senor Tequilas or Casa Manana. Even Cantina Laredo with the price of it all.
Service is usually good, their grilled food is great! However, I do not recommend ordering anything that you expect to come with a red sauce( enchiladas, burritos) or a green sauce( enchiladas, pork chili Verde) they use mole as their house red sauce, which is a chocolatey sweet chili sauce, and their green chili enchiladas tasted like they had at least 12 grams of sugar in the sauce. They were both pretty nasty. I've never tasted anything like it. If I wanted a dessert I probably would have ordered one, instead of enchiladas?
Service was spectacular and the food was delicious. It was clean and reasonably priced. Very good place to eat!
For Mexican food, this restaurant always comes up in the list. The staffs are friendly and customer service is great. The food is great as well. I have been to this restaurant many times and they never disappoint me.
Authentic comfort Mexican food @ Hillcrest 4 minutes from Allsopp Park. Neighborhood gem. family owned 30 years with attentive service. Enjoyed affordable giant portions of fajitas, chicken mole, quesadillas, flan & strong drink.
Succulent juicy cuts of sirloin smothered in melted cheese with a spicy chipotle pepper kick. Order the Fajita Adobada! You can't go wrong! The place has existed for close to 30 years for a reason! It's freaking good.
First time here, the food was delicious. The salsa was good, had flavor but wasn't overly spicy. I got the torta thinking it would be smallish but it was the size of my head! Also fully loaded with all the typical torta stuff. The service was fast too even though it was dinnertime.
Simple Delicious! Wait Staff were very attentive. Drinks were tasty and our food was cooked to PERFECTION! There's tasting Quesadillas EVER! The Queso was smooth and creamy!
I have no clue how I haven’t put a review for this! This is by far the best Mexican around. We recently relocated to Nashville, Tenn- and still to this day when we come and visit my parents, the first thing we do is come here. The food is so fresh, clean restaurant and very attentive staff.
Good food. Well-staffed. Accommodates vegetarian requests.We always get take-out but the indoor dining was packed. No reduced tables for social distancing despite being in peak of pandemic.
