I would highly recommend Kemuri. I ordered the sushi and was extremely impressed, best sushi I have had in Little Rock so far.One word of caution, so to speak, the rolls are much bigger than traditional sushi rolls, so keep that in mind when orderingWe really liked the hulk and the poison, but the Mama Mia was the by far the highlight, I would definitely recommend that.
Today me and my group of family members were happy to come here to celebrate a birthday celebration. Soon as we arrived we were told we couldn’t be served. There were excuses as to why we couldn’t be served but as a grown up, you KNOW when you’re being discriminated against. Looking over other minorities in these reviews this place is NOT for us. When I say “us” I mean BLACK people. I do not care for a response from anyone from this establishment. I would just like it to be known if you go here you will be judge and made to feel like you’re not accepted. It’s probably has good food but humility comes before money over here. Just do better and treat ALL customers the same. Smh.
This was one of those meals that won’t be forgotten! The absolute best calamari and sushi rolls ever! The shrimp and grits are good but I still have my favorite from another Little Rock restaurant. Please be bold and try the Green Tea Pancakes as they are divine! Everything and everyone was superb. Can hardly wait to go back and try more of the menu.
Wonderful ambiance and great food!
First time to dine there. Place was crowded so we had to sit at a table on the side patio outside. Not a problem as the weather was agreeable. I don't eat sushi but my dinner companions do and they had the volcano roll. They claim it was delicious. My drunken noodles were tasty and plentiful and my double jack n coke was as expected. Staff was courteous and friendly.
Absolutely fantastic experience. From the outstanding and delicious food, to the amazing service (thank you Carlos) we had an incredible dinner. My parents are visiting from Germany and this place has been set as a “must-have” for their next visit. I will seek to frequent Kemuri more often in the meantime. Amazing establishment.
We went for Sunday brunch. I had the choc chip cappuccino pancakes and my friend had the green tea pancakes. Very good. We also got sides of bacon. Also very good. Normally when I eat here I do the sushi, which is also very good.
Our waiter Jeremy was very nice, attentive, etc. The beef entrees we had were very good... the actual beef (grade of A). The accompaniments were pretty good but not exceptional. Miso soup and coffee were slightly better than lukewarm. To Jeremy's credit he did try to get hot coffee after the first two were less than bath water warm. Desserts were a grade of B. I would not recommend it necessarily, but I wouldn't tell anyone not to go there.
Kemuri is definitely a Neighborhood Gem! Misty, our Server, was delightful, very knowledgeable about the menu and food preparation and extremely helpful with our sushi ordering. We enjoyed the Salmon Roll, Yellow Tail Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, and Spicy Crawfish Roll. Two days later, my wife is still talking about Kemuri and Misty. We will definitely be back!
Gotta be the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. My wife feels the same. We live about an hour away so we don’t get to visit that often. But, when we are in town-Kemuri it is. You won’t regret it. Great food, service, and priced right.
