Great menu, great food.. one of my favorite places in Little Rock.My go to meal is one of the grilled fish plates (typically the snapper) "make it snappy" (means adding spicy to the dish). The dish is served with grilled zucchini and rice and beans.. simple, but very well cooked and delicious. The lobster bisc soup is really good too. And the shrimp jambalaya is really good too.. lots of good food here!
This restaurant was recommended by hotel. Overall I’d say the food is good but not great. I was definitely surprised to see so many people loving it and made me wonder if I ordered the wrong meal. I d the fried catfish and shrimp which was fried perfectly but did not have ANY flavor. Had it had even just a little bit of flavor I’d say it was perfect.
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was an excellent choice! We had the shrimp po boy and the grill shrimp kabob. The po boy had flattened shrimp that was deep fried on a perfectly toasted bread. The grilled kabob was my favorite which was perfectly cooked with beans and rice. We also heard the salmon salad was a good choice. You order at the counter and seat yourself with seating in front and back of restaurant. I would highly recommend
Expensive for sub par food. Cajun platter. Everthing on the plate was completely seasoned with the same cajun spice after plated. Oysters were soaked in water so long they tasted like water. Cocktail sauce from a jar. Horseradish from a jar. Frozen food thawed and served at $20.00 per plate. Gave 3 instead of 2 stars for atmosphere. Beer $5.00 or more each. Go elsewhere.

The catfish is always great. Last night though we decided to get crab legs platter. Well they were the most pitiful crab legs we’ve ever had. Most were no bigger then your pinky finger and overcooked at that . Couldn’t get hardly anything out of them. Corn was awfully small too. You would think for $38.50 apiece that they could do better. We go there quite a few times and catfish is always great. Never again for crab legs though . We went to Andy’s for some ice cream because we were still hungry
Excellent! The crawfish chowder was flavorful and loaded with ingredients. The shrimp and catfish were amazing and filling for the price. I'm glad I didn't walk past this great food!
Ordered the fried catfish jambalaya with a side order of hush puppies and 3 piece catfish basket that includes fries and hush puppies with coleslaw. The temperature and taste of the food was good. The jambalaya was a bit spicy for my taste, and the catfish was thinly cut. So much so that sections of the pieces were too hard to consume. The sweet tea mixed with fresh lemonade was very good. The hush puppies were excellent; the side order was huge. Very much worth the extra $2! Would visit again but would order more pieces of catfish if getting the basket again.
First off I would like to start by saying that I actually went here for lunch and then again for dinner, something that I never do. The food was amazing, specifically the shrimp jambalaya and the spicy gator poboy that I got for either meal. The spice was just right in each, good flavors and a well maintained service system for knowing when your order is ready. I would recommend this place to any person wanting some well made seafood, both spicy or just plain fried.
Stopped by on a road trip from TX. Light and crispy hush puppies with corn inside, shrimp po-boy had nicely flattened, breaded shrimp, better than McDonald’s fries, fried oysters were big and juicy. Huge tubs of tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. Fountain drink machine with chewable ice.
