Although I was basically ignored for ten minutes while standing at the register to pay for my to go food WHICH was sitting in a bag on a chair the while time. (Getting cold no less)It was fairly good. The salsa was way to hot. I've never had a problem with the salsa before although it's been a year since I've eaten there. They gave us plenty of chips w our salsa, cheese and guacamole, the rice is sooo yummy. If the salsa (which I couldnt eat and bought a large) hadn't been so hot and I wasnt ignored.... I'd have put five stars.
I used to love this place until my sister and I sat at the bar for 40 minutes with barely any service. I was able to get one drink, but after so long with staff just looking at us and no other drink or food orders, I just had to leave cash and walk out. I guess there was no bartender, but they did not tell us that when seating us. A waste of an hour.
Racism I call it… For the last two weeks I have visit this location for lunch. Both time my friend and I have been abruptly mistreated. I can understand people or a person may be having a bad day and sometimes it shows in their day work. However, today it happened again; it’s not a mistake, these people in this El Porton location (of Little Rock) are definitely being racist. I advise anyone who like to feel welcome and treated fairly will stay away from this company and find somewhere else to eat. Let this place never be a thought to eat at.From carding (ID) my African America friend and I to serving me half cooked spaghetti to the abrupt behavior is enough for me to say f you. And if I’m not mistaken we haven’t place no order for drinks yet. However, the Manager of this location felt to card only us two brown women and no one else. This Manager had the audacity to get mad when we said we come here all the time and no one carded us before. You can tell we are adults.Anyway, let our experience resonate within you. Let these people actions of treatment toward us speak for you. Or go and have your own experience.May the true God of all creation reign in power!
if you've worked in food service before you know Mexican food is cooked at the beginning of the day and kept in a hotbox for the rest of the day.So with that being said how hard is it to screw up enchiladas. The enchiladas I ordered to go were ground beef, once I got home and opened my dish it appeared that the ground beef was rolled in cold tortillas and slathered in sour cream, salsa and lettuce so they wouldn't unroll.I put it outside for the raccoon and made me a sandwich. If you order food from this restaurant make sure it's hot before you leave..
Very much over priced. And when we walked in the greeter looked me up and done and side to side like he was sizing me up for the oven and another waitress kept staring at me with what I thought was hate in her eyes. I wouldnt go to this mediocre, over priced Mexican restaurant again to save my life
Great place, great service!! Great atmosphere!! Chicken Fajitas were amazing!!
We visited for the first time this week. Our friends come often with their grandchildren. We were pleasantly surprised how good it was. Started with a lemon margarita and Porton dip. I asked for a shrimp quesadilla and it was chocked full of yummy grilled shrimp. The guac was tasty with it. Easy parking adds to the plus of this Mexican spot
Been a long time since I have visited El Porton, but their chicken soup and chips and cheese dip were still fresh and delicious just like I remembered.
Great customer service, food comes out fast. Also, their meats are really seasoned, and just delicious. Most importantly menu items are reasonably priced.
SO GOOD!!! super fast service. great staff. Very affordable. hot and super tasty food. feels very authentic!! 10/10 for me ??
