It was me and some coworkers that went out for lunch here on a Monday. That was a mistake. They were out of shrimp which is what half of us wanted, and they were out of the Cajun rice. The fried fish was so thin you could even taste the fish, only the seasoning. The hush puppies were over cooked. I ordered the garlic fries but didn’t realize they were going to cover them in actual garlic chunks. Way over seasoned. There was standing water on the floor next to the kitchen so of course it smelled bad too. Honestly I could keep complaining about how bad of a place this was, but I think the point has been made. There’s better (and cheaper) places for shrimp and catch fish.
Dropped in to the restaurant on the way from Hot Springs to Memphis because we ate there for Mother’s Day 2021 and had a wonderful experience. It was a joke today. We ordered the boiled shrimp. 22 minutes later. A waitress comes to us and says we do not have any shrimp and are not planning to cook anymore today. Wait..what?! I said ok that’s fine bring the other people in our parties food it’s ok. Oh but wait… then she comes back 12 minutes later and says we found them. She literally put the frozen shrimp from a common grocery store in my face. I said oh wow never mind just give us a refund. The table beside us was alarmed as well. Asked to speak to the manager. He said the way she handled it was ok because she was just letting us know that they can continue fixing our meal. As I was standing there… another lady walked up with her CAJUN RICE with bugs in it!!! Her child was eating it. What happened to decent humanity!!’ This is a walking lawsuit waiting to happen by making someone very sick! I am all for uplifting when I do on my reviews but this place was the worst place I have ever went to in my life!! Good luck Little Rock on this waste of space! P.s. I never disrespected any of the staffing or the manager . I ended the visit with a compliment to the girl who worked the front who had no clue about the issues that had occurred because of lack of managerial training. **Spread kindness but don’t tolerate disrespect when you did nothing wrong.

Their menu options are not accurate. They keep advertising their gumbo but never have it. My wife loves the catfish but otherwise the menu is limited. The chicken tenders come out as rubber. Love catfish or don’t go
Kylea had amazing customer service. She made sure my order was correct and went the extra mile to get me lemons from the back. Also the catfish was great and the okra was cooked crispy. I will definitely be back!
Tried to eat there but they kept serving people who came after us. Told the staff twice that we had still not received our order, and no one cared or took ownership of it. Finally after about 30 minutes of them walking right past us with no recognition we asked for a refund and left. They may have good food, but we never got to find out.
I absolutely love the Little Rock location! Jalasia provides AMAZING customer service. Working in the service industry myself, I appreciate her great attitude and willingness to ensure her customers are happy! I get the boiled shrimp and chocolate fried every visit and both are always amazing! Great food and top notch customer service.
We’ve been coming here for years and have been long time fans. However, it’s really gone downhill recently. Went last night and it was dirty, the floor was sticky and filthy, there were visible bugs; they were out of tarter sauce and sweet tea and wouldn’t replace it; the kitchen and staff were sloppy and disorganized: they kept getting our order wrong and forgetting things and it took us basically our whole trip and several asks to get it right. Surprisingly, the food was good except for the boudin balls which tasted rancid and were full of oil. The staff seemed like all teenagers who didn’t care and were unsupervised. I hope the management can turn this around because we’ve always loved supporting a local place with good crawfish!

Gone Down! Nasty floor.I had to clean off my own table. The salt and pepper shakers were so sticky that I used a paper towel to pick them up. The paper towels stuck to the shakers! Ordered fried green tomatoes and they battered and fried Pickled Tomatoes! So nasty I couldn’t eat them. It took 20 minutes to get my fish. The waiter put fish on wrong table went back and got it and put it on the right table! The fish was good. Next time I travel to Little Rock, I will find a different place to eat or go to EMC in North Little Rock.
