I mean, what can you do? There aren't many restaurants on this side of town. The city isn't investing in this community...that being said, if you don't have somewhere you need to be This is your joint. They took forever to get the orders completed ahead of me. Their saving grace is the chicken was immaculate. Crispy, fresh-n-hot, and juicy. I asked for hot sauce, but they were out. The cashier offered me some powder packet. Warning- If you're eating in your vehicle because you're running late from waiting in line, don't accidentally inhale this stuff. Had me coughing and eyes wateringIt did taste good though. I could've passed on the spicy/dirty rice. I will order from them again, if I'm on that side of town.
Chicken was over cooked, Mac & cheese was burnt and had black residue all in it and the corn on the cob was all dry and didn't have butter on it at all.. would not recommend this spot at all to anyone
The portions were small and the price was high $18.00 for a 3 piece white and 1 side dish not to good.

The chicken was good and hot and it's sad about the church's chicken on 12th street is gone and I mean all the chicken restaurant's are gone on 12th St. But yesterday on Martin Luther King St. was a great day . Oh yeah we had a guy from Tyson Foods chatting for a long time so my uncle went inside.
It was horrible! Mac & cheese had a lot of burnt and the biscuits were the size of a golf ball and almost as hard. Was not edible. We got 3 dinners like that. Won't go back to that location again and suggest it be banned if that continues.

Chicken was hot and fresh. It didn't take long and it was only drive thru orders. They did a wonderful job.
It was a good experience the chicken was really good. When I attended Philander Smith years ago I would visit for lunch when you could get 2pc side biscuit for little over $3....so you know how long ago this has been....
I order some food to go, then gotta come back and ask for fork and knife.. gotta get back in long drive through line after I got unstuck from ppl in the line behind me.. I get to the speaker and they say they don’t carry knifes they just got forks and I said how I’m supposed to cut this chicken fried steak then they said pull to the window and had a knife and fork set and said, “so u ain’t get one of these in your bag?” DF!? I thought they ain’t have “no knives.” Lies after lies after lies… won’t ever move forward.??♀️
