This is a cafeteria style setup. Really friendly staff and great food. Several options in meat, vegetables and desserts. All I have tried are very good. Southern style as the name states. On Sunday’s arrive early. They are busy, but it is worth it.
I work down the street from Bobbie D's and some say they are pricey but, it's a hearty meal that consist of big portions and it's so much more filling than a burger, fries and a coke your almost gonna pay just as much for but, not near the flavor and choices than you would get here. Worth the extra cost!
Friendly staff. The pork steak was seasoned well and tender. Cabbage was a touch spicy but overall tasty. Not a real fan of the candied yams. I learned that they serve from 11 to 3 and once the meat part of the entree is out, that's it.
Just visiting LR today. Saw this place and figured, why not. This is some of the best food I have had in a loooong time. The hospitality and the atmosphere had me feeling like I was back with family in Louisiana. Highly recommend Bobbie D’s
This place is so totally awesome.....I go there Everytime I'm off during the day. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in and their food is amazing. it makes you want to try EVERYTHING on the menu. I love this place and the workers... and the bonus is all the ladies there are gorgeous you won't be disappointed
I rarely give out five stars, so when I do it’s because they were well deserved. This was just such an experience. We learned of Bobby D’s while attending a conference, and went at someone’s suggestion. I’m glad we did. The service was unlike anything one would expect. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, it more like a family event than just simply having lunch. And the food… the food was simply amazing. This wasn’t restaurant food, this was good ol’ fashion home cooking! The portions are more than fair, and it’s all you can eat so you won’t be leaving hungry. And good ol’ southern sweet tea is included. You also have a choice of rolls or cornbread In short, I WILL be back. Even if I have to make the three hour drive from home… I WILL be back!
Great food and service. The employees were very nice and friendly.
