This is by FAR the best Indian food I've eaten in Little Rock. It was absolutely incredible! Spices are perfectly balanced. Meat is tender and marinated to perfection. It was as close to heaven as you can get in a to go box.

Food was fresh and tasty. And loved their authenticity for the south Indian food. Thank you. People looking for good south Indian food ...This is the place you should try for sure. Both vegetarian options and non vegetarian options are good and tasty as well?

I ordered pepper chicken, didn’t know they meant bell pepper chicken? When u pay $14 and get gas station food it’s depressing! What quantity do you think this is? I ordered for an adult not from kid’s menu ?

Me and my sister wanted something really good and fulfilling so we decided to go and give this place a try and let me tell you,we had no idea what we were getting into. You can really taste the passion the chef puts in the food and he'll even come and ask is everything okay but honestly he don't have to ask cause it's just THAT good!! And the waiter is friendly, observant, and very helpful so don't be afraid to ask the waiter for help because I garentee you'll be indecisive after seeing so many delicious meals & appetizers to choose from lol.I most definitely will be back.Thank you for the amazing experience and service!

35 minutes with no service! We walked in, the man behind the counter said have a seat, and went back to messing with the computer. There were no other customers in the restaurant. We waited about 10 minutes, and waved to get his attention to ask if there were menus available. He gave us 2 from behind the counter, and went back to the computer. A couple of to go orders came in and picked up, 2 men came from the back and sat up front near us and began talking. The man at the computer went to the back and got a huge open tray of food and brought it to the two men. One of them brought out a spoon wrapped in plastic, tasted the food, and wrapped his spoon. The man took the tray away to the back, and went outside. We looked at the clock and said 10 more minutes. At this point we had been waiting almost a half hour. The man came back in, we waved to get his attention so we could place an order. He did not acknowledge us, but went to the back and got another tray of food for the two men, out comes the spoon, the taste test, and the tray was taken away. At this point we have up and went down the street to Taj Mahal, where we were greeted and served great food in less time than it took to get menus at Bawarchi.

First (visit) indian place (love Indian food but...) that didn't make me feel heavy and with a sick stomach feeling for the rest of the day. Large portions. Have other stuff on their menu like Asian cuisine. Flavor is awesome. Wait staff accommodate, even later in the evening people still coming in before closing and they keep going. Have a good system (digital based could be very organized) but taking a star away for it seeming to be something they use but also almost ignore, as in their seems to be a disconnect with communication and you kinda have to be always pulling any given waiter or host to get your order or ask a question. Then, although they don't bring wrong item, having to keep up with what you ordered and asked more than twice for about various things that they just forget to bring. Causes the meal to be inconsistently delivered and if you don't remember, probably will never get, but will be on the bill. Not like they won't fix that but if you pay no attention no doubt easy to walk out having unknowingly paid for various items you never remembered you ordered or got. The star off is also including that I think it took an extremely long time to get any kind of food to arrive, even tho ordering is overly pushed. They are ready for you to place the order as soon as you sit, even with the giant intimidating menu with über small print. After that you just gotta keep on them to get something, even an appetizer. Ends up all at once arriving. Best to order a variety of stuff on menu between friends and share all around, as each dish is just what it is, not always a full rounded dinner unless you can get a variety of stuff. Always seems the case when I get any Indian food. More fun that way IMO, just keep up with what you ordered. Or at least when you pay. Expect lots to take home unless you have an endless stomach. Great mango lassies, desert for me. Saw some kind of giant burrito thing (masala dosa?) people were ordering stuffed with all kinds of Indian foods. Literally hangs off ends of a LONG plate. Is described in menu as a crepe-like something. Maybe the texture of the "tortilla"? Don't know the name, can get a half I think. And their Indian sweet or bread cheese or whatever, looks like it's actually a meal in it's own, saw a guy eating it with a couple of sides, but it was main. Part of dish and looked surprisingly meal in itself and very tasty, am getting next time. Have ordered same thing @ other places and it's always this little appetizer that is ...ok but more like squares or balls of tofu and kinda disappointing from what you'd expect. Also very light for something like cheese. But the version they serve here looked truly gratifying and what you imagine in your head when reading about it. Adding stock photo not from restaurant of that burrito to show enormity. Gonna try as well.

My new favorite Indian restaurant in Little Rock. Great flavors, a broad menu, and friendly staff. Highly recommend the samosas, daal tadka, and the garlic naan.

We wanted to get Mysore Masala Dosa and from past experiences we knew that it would take 30 minutes to have our order ready. So we called and ordered ahead to dine in. As we got there the Dosa was in To go containers ready for take out. We got little upset as it was soggy vs crunchy when it's fresh and served in a plate. As I opened the Container of Potato Masala I smelled strong odor that you would normally get when food is spoiled. We left the place without eating and will never go back again. The whole experience was bad. They gave us three plates and expected us open to go boxes and serve ourselves even when we clarified that it was supposed to be dine in. Very bad customer service. I will notify health department for them have the food and storage area inspected.

This place is a gem if you are looking for authentic Indian food. Fair warning, it is quite spicy even if you ask for mild but that's the same in India. The smells and atmosphere are wonderfully the same as in Asia.

Sambhar was delicious but a tad bit on the spicier side! Idli was good but they were a little on the dry. I really appreciate the lady I spoke to on the phone when I called the restaurant. She was very polite and gave me accurate information regarding the dish I ordered. One of the few restaurants that serve idli and dosa and other South Indian items with variety! The buttermilk was really good too; I just wish it was more cold/chilled but I guess temp is hard to control for food delivery. Regardless both items I ordered were good. My only suggestion is to offer chutney with the idli sambhar too priced at 11.99; I saw an option on the menu for 10.99 that served chutney with idli but didn't know if it came with sambhar so I ordered the 11.99 version thinking it would come with all. The lady on the phone did explain that the 11.99 dish only comes with sambhar. Even small little containers of it would make a huge difference in enjoying the complete food experience! Also not to mention, the medu vada priced at 11.99 comes with chutney and sambhar so why not add chutney to the idli sambhar priced at 11.99? Thank you bawarchi and Grub Hub for a great dinner! Wish I could rate 4.5 starts instead of just 4
