I had lunch here 2 years ago and wasn't too impressed so I decided to give them another go. I had the double classic combo with cheese. The fries were hot and pretty good but the burger was just so-so. It was just a bit dry. Not over-cooked but not juicy either. Another slice of cheese might help or maybe a bit more veggies. I'll probably try the mushroom swiss next time too see if it tastes better with a single patty.
Fabulous little burger spot with amazing burgers....but the fries and cobbler are what really set them apart. Will definitely be coming back here again soon.

I went to Back Yard Burgers on Shackleford for the first time in a long time this evening. My fries were excellent. Perhaps some of the best I've had in a while. The burger, however, was gross. Very cold and pink in the middle. The drink was fine, but wasn't what I ordered. Staff were friendly. Facility looked fine.
The grilled chicken sandwich with coleslaw is exceptional. Their steak fries are a meal on their own.It's worth getting a side of the coleslaw.But be specific that it's an add-on. This location has had a faltering start training new employees, but has improved readily.
This hidden gem is one of the last of it's kind (in Arkansas, say least). They have really good burgers, especially for being fast food. The blackjack burger is one of my favorites, and the wife loves the blackened chicken sandwich. The fries are delicious and my go to variety (seasoned, kind of like Rally's/Checkers). If you haven't been here in a while, or forgot they existed, check it out!
Delicious Blackened Chicken sandwich as always! The Low Carb option makes me feel less guilty about ordering fries with it, lol
Backyard Burger you have to wait just a second but the food is always fresh the fries are always hot. And if you like tea the tea is very good and not Blinky. I'm glad to see that Little Rock has a backyard Burger again and this one is very good, it is clean with friendly employees and great food.
So when it comes to a Really delicious burger. I must say back Yard Burgers never disappoint. I actually ate here on my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed my 2for 6. I had a pic nice burger with added bacon and chili cheese fries. Totally Awesome
I went to back Yard burgers at 305 N Shackleford rd last week it was a nighttime manager Caucasian little boy and when my food wasn’t right I told him that I wanted onions and a well-done burger he told me that there was onions on there and I did not see them I took a bite out the burger taste no onions flip both sides up there was no onions and then he told me that he could not accommodate my order because obviously I’m asking for too much these where his words then he go on to say I’m gonna give you your money back (WHAT) and I told him I don’t want my money back I want my burger I want my food I’m hungry and he goes on to say well I can’t help you and continuous to give me my money back I have never been to a restaurant where they make you take your money back you supposed to satisfy the customer I was not rude or disrespectful or raise my voice because I don’t play like that when other peoples handling my food I’m sure the corporate office wouldn’t want to give back the money I am very disappointed because I love back Yard burgers I feel very disrespected
