Visited this restaurant for brunch on a Sunday. The location is nice and the interior is very welcoming. The staff were very nice and considerate as well. The food was good but the menu seemed to have it's shortcomings. The menu is basically what you see is what you get so if you order something, like a breakfast sandwich, it doesn't come with any type of side. The lunch items do come with sides but you cannot order lunch until 12 PM, just a heads up. The cinnamon rolls are huge and soft but they have quite a bit of orange zest or flavoring which wasn't expected. Overall it isn't a bad restaurant and I would go again.
Run by a man who is a real chef. His first restaurant was on church property, hence the name. Exceptional quality--top flavor and presentation. Servers are attentive. Very intriguing decor.
I came here with my wife and the food was delicious. The salad was incredibly fresh and the sandwich was perfect. The soup has a great depth of flavor that I recommend to anyone. The service and the decor was great as well.
The Parsonage was such a neat place and the food was super tasty. The decor is unique and it is a great cheerful environment. The upstairs is available to rent out for catered events. Zero problems. The waitress was great as well.
Service was great food taste great! The reason for my low review is the coffee is a bit watery and the menu sucks. You can’t order anything ala carte or add a side to your dish. What you see on the menu is what you get plus whatever special they are serving. When you pay over $60 for four people you shouldn’t leave still hungry. The leftover soupy breakfast special one of us got was put in a standard to go box instead of any sort of bowl and lid container. This made it very easy to spill and the smallest to go bag they had could have held a quarter of beef.Really not very good menu choices. In the end it’s their business and they choose how to run it but when I go to brunch I expect a full menu or the ability to have something else with my biscuits and gravy. Nice place just not for me or the family.
Very good dining experience. Went in for a sandwich and a side. This visit I had a reuben with a side of pasta.
I've been meaning to try this place for several years, but either they'd be closed or we'd change our minds or a global pandemic would spring up. Seems like there was always something, but not to worry, finally made it through their doors last week and hey, I should've gone a long time ago. Food was fabulous! Toad-N-Da-Hole(!) is something of a breakfast novelty - you can hardly ever find them - but Parsonage features it on their brunch menu and it's exceptional. Highly recommend!
The price we paid for the food did not match the quality and portion we received. Also tried to order a side of eggs with our waffle and they told us that wasn't an option. The service was meh. It's took them a while to bring us menus and take our order. When the food arrived, they had brought us someone else's order. When we finally got the correct order it was barely warm. I would not recommend this place.
Somehow, Chef took a massive hunk of white meat chicken and fried it to perfection without it being the least bit dry. Highly recommend then chicken and waffles and, well, anything else on the menu.
I would not be going back. The amount we paid did not match the food we received. The menu is super limited and The fact that I drove over an hour to experience this place and for me to be totally disappointed is an understatement. The place was clean and the seating was swift.
