First time to eat here. Possibly some of our fault, maybe. But when we ordered our food I felt like the waitress should have said something the way we ordered our food. It was my husband, my 18 yr old son and me. Me and my son don’t eat very much. He ordered sushi, my husband ordered sushi, a hibachi meal and I ordered a hibachi meal as well. Not knowing they thought they ordered by pieces. That’s what it looked liked. Nope they both got 6 rolls of sushi each. Who orders that much food. When she brought out the food we were like WHAT. Then we got the bill. We paid and didn’t say anything. But sorry won’t be back. Felt like the waitress should have explained or said something.
Wait staff is responsive, and timely. Such a fun food experience for children and adults. Our chef was funny and more interactive with our children at the table than I have seen at anywhere similar style restaurant. Lunch seems to be a slower time to go, but would make a great date night.
Really good food, the cook was very fun and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this place!
Had a blast here. Our chef was very funny although a little quiet, food was outstanding, and they have by far the best mustard sauce I have had in a long time. I'll be back
The Experience Was Awful, After A Basketball Tournament We Went To Eat At Sumos In Jonesboro. It Was 10 Of Us Who Didn't Mind Sitting with Each Other To A Bar. More People Came In And Decided To Sit With Everyone. Well The Food Was Good But At The End Everyone That Had A Bill Had A Gratitude Charge To Our Bill Everyone Had An Extra 20.00 Charge To The Bill. I Believe That Is Wrong Of Them Because If We Was Going To Have A Party We Would Have Booked For A Private Party For That Price . IT WAS awful though. Check your recite everytime
Food was good. Service could be better. The portions are smaller. The staff apologized but no adjustments to the checks at our table. Lot's of excuses. If service and portions decrease then lower the prices!!
Food was tasty, yum yum sauce you know yumm. Small mix drinks, my sons juice was also shorted. Probably the most boring Japanese grill we've been too. Chef did nothing spectacular except produce a huge flame at the beginning. I get certain jobs are repetitive but ppl get grill seating mainly for a little show, especially with children. I mean cmon what teppanyaki/hibachi grill doesn't do the onion choo choo train, crack eggs playfully, toss food or squirt saki and water. Still gave him a tip but booooo!
Me and my girlfriend just ate here in the Jonesboro location on 2/18/22 at 8pm. The waiter was awesome but my girlfriend found a hair in her food. She barley touched her food and didn’t get to finish her salmon nor touched the rice. The manager came out and talked to her and she seemed very unprofessional. She didn’t make my girlfriend a new plate of food and only brought out 2things of rice. When we got our ticket all she did was take of 10% when my girlfriend didn’t get the meal we payed for. It’s honestly pathetic of the manager to do that. Any other nice restaurant would’ve been embarrassed and I’m sure they would’ve not charged us for that plate. We will never go back there again.
Good, standard hibachi restaurant. Clean, good service, and a decent bar menu. Scallops were slightly over cooked but not bad at all. Comparable prices for the area. Good sushi as well.
Told us it would be a 35 minute wait. Waited an hour. Then they say we are next it will be 10 - 15 minutes and to wait in the lobby. Then they tell us after waiting for 10 minutes that we had to wait in our car and we waited another 20 minutes and still no one calls. So we left . They dont get our service tonight. They finally called after nearly 2 hours of waiting.
