Great deals & food, but I wish they had a menu that was displayed up on the wall for you to see instead of a piece of paper being passed from literally every hand in the building wanting to order. Kinda gross if you think about it. There menu is on a piece of paper, so while your waiting in line to order. There is nowhere to look & browse options to order. You have to wait until it's your turn to order & then pass the paper between your families while everyone decideds what they'd like to eat... while the cashier drums her fingers impatiently.. kinda counter productive if you ask me, but Whatever! Not mine to worry about. Just a review
Whoever “Steve” is, is rude. Said he was the manager. So sounds like steaknshake needs to hire better management, he actually hung up on me. I ordered cheese fries, I got fries w cheese sauce on the side. That’s NOT what I ordered and that’s NOT what the picture on the website showed.
The burgers look and taste amazing! I added a vanilla milkshake and it was also really good. What I appreciate is the quality you're getting for a low price, and I love the variety! I regret not coming here sooner.
Every table was dirty. They weren’t even busy when we got there. The employees were just standing around talking to each other. I did not like the kiosk ordering as the screens were gross and filthy! We wanted to pay with cash then the unfriendly cashier told us we had to use another kiosk instead of the one we were using! As we went to cancel our order and move to the other kiosk she then informed us we could pay her. My husband ordered a shake. She asked if he wanted whipped cream and a cherry. He said yes I’ll have it with whipped cream and the cherry. She then snapped we don’t have cherries! WTH!!?? The food was good but this place is poorly managed! The help had no idea how to prioritize duties and never did get any tables cleaned the entire time we were there. One employee showed another how to fill ice in the beverage machine and pulled a chair over to stand on to fill it. They both walked away and left the chair in front of the beverage machine. A couple customers had to reach around it and then an employee came out to fill their own drink and never moved the chair back!!?? Absolutely no clue!! Hopefully the next time we eat at a Steak n Shake (not this one) we will have a better experience.
We've been there several times and it's always a mess. The floor is littered with trash and dropped food, tables are never wiped down. We like the food but inside dining is atrocious
The floors were greasy slick. Burger and shake was good. I didn't like the thin shoe string fries.
I have always loved Steak ‘n Shake but the service here in Jonesboro is getting to be sub par; I guess they need more “adults” working and/or workers that actually work ?
Absolutely no customer service. Order from a kiosk, they no longer bring it to the table. They call the number on your receipt, you bring your food to the table. The milkshakes were in to go cups about half the size of the old glass that it used to come in. I understand convenience, but not at the price of costumer service.
First visit and introduction to Steak 'n Shake. I LOVED IT. Best burgers and peanut butter shake I have ever had.Some may think I'm exaggerating, but we don't have places like this in EU. Best burgers ever.
