Best sushi in Jonesboro! Hands down! Definitely worth the money! The variety of sushi they have is simply amazing! Their sushi rolls are just about the size of the palm of my hand so trust me when I say you get your moneys worth! Try the fried sushi ?
Went yesterday for my daughters 12 year birthday. Found wire brush in her rice.. long strains of it. Told our server ( nice as can be ) the manager discounted our $300 bill $2.48 for the bad rice….. hard to make that up.
Ate here for lunch. It is a nice Asian restaurant and has the typical hibachi fare and sushi dishes as well. Like other Asian restaurants, they have lunch specials throughout the week on both the hibachi and sushi menus. They do not have the tables where chefs cook in front of you however, if that is what you are looking for. I also don't believe they have a liquor license so they will not serve you alcoholic drinks. It's not my favorite restaurant of this type but it isn't bad at all and would come back to eat here again.
Poor reception - high prices - especially if you order food prepare to wait about 10 minutes by the front desk where no receptionist is there anytime of point they are at the back so get ready to scream at someone . Also usually if you get busy signal lady at the front desk talking to her friends off of main phone while you are trying to put an order in . I have ordered many times and I had to come in because she is on the phone talking to someone . Sumo’s is the way in Jonesboro if you want good service and good sushi
DELICIOUS! INSANE AMOUNTS OF FOOD AND AMAZING! The fish was so fresh, the udon was huge and so flavorful! I could probably go in and just fill up on the fried oysters, I've never tasted any that good before! Wonderful Valentine's Day feast!!! I'm so full I could explode, but I'm so content and happy with this restaurant, I don't even care. The staff is also very friendly and attentive, even during a crazy busy night like tonight. My boyfriend and I LOVED it!!!
Service was somewhat pushy for ordering then slow with drink refills. We ordered appetizers, sushi, and hibachi. Could also plan the timing of the meal better not all of us received our meal at the same time, but just within a couple mins so not enough to complain about. Overall good experience, recommend and will go back.

#1 Japanese restaurant in Jonesboro! Be prepared to enjoy yourself! Hiro is one of the best places to indulge at.As soon as you are seated, spring rolls are placed at the table. They are usually gone from the plate within a minute of them being brought. Next is the decision to order a soup or salad. Personally, I recommend the soup. With the scallions and fried onions, it’s delicious. Then there’s the matter of picking the entree. A very hard decision. If you’re wanting hibachi, I recommend the steak and chicken. But, if the sushi roll craving hits you, I recommend the Hiro Mini Roll, the Kentucky Roll or the Shrimp Tempura Roll.No matter what you order, be sure to check out the amazing specials they offer for lunch and dinner. You just might get to mix and match your meal. All in all, a trip to Hiro is definitely worth killing your diet for ?!
I’ve been going here for years. Great food, staff and normally short wait times. Definitely recommend.
The food and the speed is great but sometimes the customer service is a little lackluster.
