An unfortunate all around visit to this location. Waited quite a while to be greeted and seated. Our server was nice but seemed to be overwhelmed. Boyfriend ordered 2 breasts with his fried chicken meal and no one came back to tell him that they were out of those pieces. Instead just brought whatever other pieces they had. Food was cold and chicken was tough. Got brought plastic silverware and were told that there was no metal silverware, but the dishwashers were out front smoking so guessing that’s why there was none.
The wait staff were very friendly and courteous, server was mostly attentive, and food was really good. They were out of some of the toppings that were supposed to go on the bacon and eggs hash brown casserole but the server provided a partial substitute. My wife’s cheesecake stuffed pancakes were very sweet and tasty. The meal prices were higher but an understandable result of current grocery prices.
Our server was FANTASTIC! Our receipt says our server was Abigail S. and we had a party of 11 so she ran her tail off. She was just sweet, knowledgeable, and patient as well as very efficient. Thanks for allowing us to celebrate my nephew's birthday here as it was his choice of where to go!
Yesterday took 2 grands and daughter to breakfast. Got there about 1030. Waitress took our drink order. Came back a few minutes later took our food order. Came back about 10 min later and advised me they could not make my omelette because it came pre- packaged and they were out. I asked about just getting a bacon egg omelette with a side order of ham and was told they could do that, 5 more minutes go by and I’m advised they can’t. I was handed another menu to look at. All this time we had not been brought any biscuits so I asked for some. She brought the biscuits, no plates and no jelly, so we started eating our biscuits on our napkins. Different waiter came by and I asked for some jelly and was brought it. She then came back to take my order. grandpas special with chicken fried steak. I had tried to pick foods to eat for a medical condition I am dealing with. Scraped the breading off the chicken fried steak, ate my fried eggs ( I wanted that omelette so bad) and my apples. One grand ordered cereal and had to wait 15 minutes for a spoon to eat it with. We asked for more napkins and she said she would be right back. Right back was 10 mi later with more drinks we didn’t ask for and no napkins, we asked again for napkins and got them along with a soon Making the assumption the waitress may have been new, she was friendly - gave you 2 stars because she smiled and never got flustered even though I’m sure my face showed I was frustrated
While the food was good, the service was exceptional! My grandfather had an episode and fell and several of the staff and even a customer helped get him up and to our car. There was another lady that was quite helpful to my grandmother while she was shopping and one even checked on me after we got my grandfather settled. They were all just super nice, calm, and collected during it all and I wish I could do much more than just say ‘thank you’. Would definitely recommend this place just for the staff. Thank you!
Cracker Barrel has gone downhill bad. I’ve given them 3 chances with this new management. Last time I attempted to eat inside, I waited over an hour for my food and they brought out the complete wrong order. Turns out they never put my order in. I got up and left. I tried to give curbside pickup a chance today. I ordered before I left my house in BONO and still waited 20 minutes in curbside parking. It really sucks cause they have amazing food, just not worth the absolute trash service
Had to eat with a plastic Fork! Never have I ever !We kept asking for silverware, they said that they didn't have enough clean! The couple beside us had to do the same. Also we should of been seated before the three people that got seated before us! Invest in more silverware, it cant be a secret that your going to busy after church! Food was good though...
They are completely changing the quality/recipes of there dishes, absolutely used to love the cornbread, thats really the only reason I went.There burgers are completely different. Way over seasoned, Macaroni & Cheese tastes different, at least they haven't figured out how to screw up breakfast yet.Very sad, stop fixing things that are not broken!!
It's cozy here empty I'm the cold winter days! Something about the fide place and warm food weather your eating alone or with loved ones it's a decent place to eat. Could use more seasoning. Also out of tarter Sauce on fish night I a no go but I was able to make some at the table lol.
