I like coming here when we visit because their veggie tacos are so good, and the cilantro rice is yummy! It was our first time trying the puffy tacoa, and keep in mind that they are a little crispy… the salsa is good, and flavourful if you like cilantro! Service was a little slow today though…
The food was wonderful but the service was slow. We waited for 2 hours to eat and had to ask for bowls and refills.
We visited Taco Mama while in the area. I was intrigued by the puffy tacos and they reminded me of fry bread and were quite delicious. My companion enjoyed his enchiladas. The service by Demi was superb! Sweetest waitress ever. She made our first night in Hot Springs area very welcoming!
We stumbled across this restaurant on the way to another mexican restaurant. It looked like a small local place. The parking lot was full so we thought the food must be good. Eating here was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was nice and the food was very good. It was better than the chain restaurant that we had thought about eating at.
The weekend brunch is absolutely amazing! I had Shane's Favorite. A latin spin on Eggs Benny! Taylor is an amazing Bartender her smile and attitude are infectious! I will return!
We ate a late lunch here, after 2p, no wait. Excellent service and food. The chips and salsa are delicious! I had the grilled fish tacos with black beans and rice. I would highly recommend this item. My companion ordered the portobello enchiladas. He was very please and said it was delicious. If you want a delicious meal, put this on your list.
We ate in the patio in a pleasant courtyard. My steak salad bowl was so good I almost licked the plate. The salsa and chips were very tasty. I will go back when I come back to town!
? loved the salsa, the sweet tea, the refried beans, the puffy tacos, the enchiladas chicken sour cream! Friendly staff and comfortable dining. Would recommend.
If you get a chance, drop in when you are in Hot Springs. they have crab enchiladas that are so good. their cheese dip is wonderful. they have puffy tacos, which I haven't seen much around Arkansas. great staff, great atmosphere.
Still my preferred Mexican restaurant, even if the menu seems to get weirder over time. If you are looking for a meal that is fresh, and with a more authentic/exotic vibe than your typical Tex-Mex, Taco Mama is definitely worth a try. It has a unique and comfortable vibe and is a local favorite.
