Two Texans visiting one of our favorite cities/states…Hot Springs, Ark. We checked Trip Advisor for something different and were a bit skeptical about a food truck since we had always gone the traditional restaurant route, but the reviews were excellent. We had never heard of anyone serving coleslaw on a Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich but we were not disappointed. It was more than both of us could eat and the sauce was so good. My husband loved the spicy and I opted for medium. Two sandwiches cost $14.88 and you definitely got your money’s worth.
After a quick trip to the hot springs, I wanted to experience some Arkansas BBQ. This location received the best reviews and it is a family owned mom and pop, which is our preferred type of restaurant. The pulled pork sandwich was huge, with BBQ sauce on the side. The slaw was so good we ordered more. The baked beans were the most flavorful I have ever had. So happy we stopped!
Mad at myself for not reviewing Rib Cage sooner. (I thought I had)The food, prices, and hospitality are always the best. The only time this place disappoints is when I need Que and they are closed. Sadly, I don't get around there much anymore. Now I'm craving it, so I may just have to head that way in a minute. If ya get a chance to stop by, tell them ole Fish Pants sent ya. It wont get ya nothing, but it will sure get a conversation started. lolBEST QUE IN THE STATE, AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED!
They were almost out of ribs when we came, I got the last 4! But honestly, I've had better ribs elsewhere. What stands out is their pulled pork. Each of my kids listened to the previous reviews and got pulled pork. The servings were huge! Those of us who got the baked potato salad LOVED it. I also loved the beans. They are spicy but not too spicy. I also got the brisket and while it was tender and juicy, it was also somewhat fatty...I wish I had stuck to the pulled pork, but I did want to try everything. The ladies running the place were wonderful and my kids and I sat on a picnic table and ate until we could eat no more! You could tell that this is a place that the locals patronize, and that's always a good thing!

Our first time eating today! We got 3 sandwiches brisket, 2 pulled pork. Ribs and 2 sides. The ribs were outstanding, I mean off the bone good!! Sandwiches were plenty for 2!! Thank you for our BBQ fix!!
This was my first experience at The Rib Cage BBQ. It was excellent . I had the pulled pork sandwich. This truly was the best BBQ I have ever had.

Websites stated they were open until 8PMor sold out. I arrived at 1:15 to a sold out sign after driving 10 miles. This is on a Wednesday and I have a feeling they never even opened at all. I did my due diligence to make sure they were open. If you sell out by 1:15, yeah well, not going to be coming back. If you live around the corner, or driving by, let me know how it is, otherwise, don't waste your time. Hungry and grumpy!
