The good: server was enthusiastic, catfish was great and food was very hot. The bad: the onion rings were not true onion rings. They were all the same exact shape and only had a mild onion taste. Crab cakes were prefab, frozen, barely had crab patties. Cleanliness is a problem. The floor is sticky especially in the bathrooms. Makes you wonder about the overall cleanliness.
The prices are reasonable. The waitress was very attentive. The decor is nice and unusual with the visual "aquarium" wall. (Not live fish.) The brown-paper tablecloths make sense because the boiled shrimp can get messy. We appreciated that the plastic fork came with a plastic bib and gloves. (Though our fingers still felt a little oily after the gloves came off.) The boiled shrimp, corn and potatoes were served hot and were very good, though next time we will order the next level up on the spicy chart. The only reason I am not giving four stars is that, after the meal was served, we asked the waitress for French bread but she said none was available. And they don't serve bread pudding. I am from New Orleans, and Cajun restaurants should have both!!!
Honestly, it was better than anything I've ever had in any part of Louisiana. The seasoning was perfect and everything was cooked to perfection. This will be a new Hot Springs staple when we come to town.
Place was very clean/ sanitary. Staff were very nice. Food was served warm. A little pricey for the quality. Taste is ok. A little greasy though. Fried green tomatoes were wet battered which made them doughy when fried. Raw batter underneath the crust. The salad was terrific. Otherwise the service was great!
this is a very good place to eat the tension expanded a very nice and very clean bar to enjoy with the family a very large parking lot I really recommend it
Plenty of tables so we didn’t have to wait. Our server was quick to get our drink order. We placed our order and a to-go order together. She was great and very attentive. The food was delicious! Best seafood and seasoning we have had in a long time. We will be back!
Came in by myself after a long day at work to enjoy myself and unwind. No bar liscense yet but that doesnt take away from it. Atmosphere was nuce and I really enjoyed my server, she helped me understand the menu a lil better.I believe her name was becca (she wrote it down on the paper tablecloth for me but im bad at reading other peoples cursive) and she was very kind.Food was delicious, will definitely try a spicier level next time but will order less food since is waaay more filling then I expected.
The fried gator was good. The combo fried shrimp/crawfish platter was good but the onion rings weren’t that great. If you like Louisiana crawfish then don’t order it here. It’s not seasoned properly so there’s not that flavor you want.Wait staff isn’t educated on the products as they should be and items on the menu aren’t available.
Absolutely wonderful!! Cedric was our Server and he was top notch. Great food and fast service. I got a poind of clams with garlic butter seasoning and mild flavor. Fantastic
