Well, many times we came here before and it's been pretty good. The staff is always friendly, but the speaker is hard to hear and understand. Tonight the chicken was way old! Much too long under the heat lamps. Ordered 8 piece spicy take out. All pieces were old, greasy, and hard. It was basically used as crow food in our backyard when we got home. It only takes that one time to make a bad impression. I'll ask if the chicken is fresh next time. Pretty disappointing.
Waited way too long for food. I was at drive thru and asked to pull up and park. I did but ended up getting out of car and going in to find out status of my order. Was told I've been busy (yes they were) and it would be 3 more minutes on shrimp. It was another 8 minutes. Pay your help more and treat them right. ThanksAlso bring back the smothered chicken.
Ran out of chicken. Sat at the drive thru heard them on speaker say they have a batch down and would take 9 minutes for ANY chicken. That was told to someone at the window. I turn the corner there’s only 2 vehicles in front of me. I get to the window and was told they are out if chicken and it would be another 8 minutes. And that’s for a 2 piece. Not to mention for that and two red beans and rice costed 19$ how? When the 2 piece was 6 something and the 2 red beans and rice was 8 something my mats not the greatest but 6+8 used to equal 14$ so no more then $15 where’s the other $4 go? Tip? Update it took me 46 minutes for this order why?
Terrible store and service. After waiting in line at 10:30 without moving I ordered from their app while waiting in line. After 30 minutes of waiting they told me they cancelled my order when I finally got to the window because they weren’t cooking any more chicken because they closed at 11. Horribly rude as well.
I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was good. the chicken is very crisp. Went through drive through
Waited in the drive thru 20 minutes for food, and then half of the order was wrong. Not even gonna comment on the staff.
Listen I eat popeyes alot I love the food. I always order on the app so my food is ready I never eat at this one but I'm working 17 minutes away today I put the order in before I got in my car when I get there one car in drive thru and I'm ghe only one at the counter?? They have it ready right? Nope he looks at me and says what can I do for you I'm here for a mobile order oh ok turns around goes through his recipes on a table then says yea you sure did your Thomas let me make this , so another 10 min I wait to get the food I'm sorry but it's pointless if you can't make the food ready in almost 20in but can push other people through the drive thru then don't take mobile orders bc some people are on a time schedule for work Tha ks
I love the spicy flounder sandwich. So glad they brought it back. We hope they keep it on the menu for good.
A real mixed review!!!!The Good is the staff..... Very friendly and courteous - and ended up being far more than that! My fiancee accidentally left her cellphone in the bathroom there, which we didn't notice until we were driving home. We turned around and drove back, fearing that the phone was "lost forever"But when we got there, the staff had found it and were keeping it safe behind the counter for us!!!Outstanding People!!!!!!The lower rating is the food: the chicken held been under the heat lamp for too long and tasted like it - not horrible, but not real good.But, the biscuits were fine and the mac & cheese was really good!Given how great the staff was with the phoneand how good the mac & cheese wasI'd figure maybe it was just an "off day" with the chicken and give them another try.Great customer service like this goes a long way with me!!!!!
10 minutes for mild chicken. Biscuits cold. Sweet tea gallon bag leaked. Terrible upkeep but the chicken is always on point
