Not happy with how the staff handled a situation with an intoxicated person that came took you guys way to long to remove him but definitely tried to make things better with the food.
Came here with my husband for authentic Mexican, was served the opposite. Chips were good, salsa tasted like spicy ketchup. Margarita tasted straight like store bought margarita mix. Husband had the seafood enchiladas; seafood tasted like it was straight from a can and full of salt. I had the picante sampler. Chicken tasted like it had been sitting for days; beef tasted like elementary cafeteria quality and I questioned if it was even beef. Was very disappointed in this experience and would NOT recommend.

Best food downtown tbh. Always really busy but workers are really nice. Food is AMAZING, their enchiladas are my favorite and everything always tastes fresh. Ive been a dozen times and they've never disappointed.
We received Quick service! Soup was delicious. It is in a area where several restaurants are located . Convenient location.
We were extremely disappointed with the food -- no taste or seasoning for the nachos. It was like the meat had been washed to eliminate the seasoning. The soup was tepid without much taste. Difficult to get waitress attention to check out. Noise level very high.
This is a great Mexican restaurant. My family and I were looking for a place to eat. Most restaurants either weren’t taking walk-ins or were closed to the night. We were seated right away. The chips and salsa were good. I ordered the street tacos and was very impressed. They were tasty. My son ordered the chicken quesadillas, my husband ordered a burrito and my picky eater ordered a hamburger. No complaints from anyone. We ordered some margaritas and enjoyed our dinner in Hot Springs.
Really great food and service. I have never before liked the salsa at a Mexican restaurant, Picante's was excellent. As was all the food. We had 8 people in our group and everyone loved their food. My mom is rude at restaurants but the waitress remained polite which I appreciated. Also, I suddenly realized while eating that I was missing my purse and they checked their cameras to see if I had it when I entered. That was so helpful and appreciated! I ended up finding it at a nearby fountain, thankfully it has not been stolen! Anyway we loved Picante's and would definitely recommend.
if i could give this place a 0 star review i would. i have never been more disappointed and disgusted in my life. took forever for them to finally ask for our orders. our food came out one plate at a time, with 10 minutes between each plate. one guest in our party didn't get their food until 30 minutes after everyone else. not an exaggeration. there was hair in our freshly served cheese dip so it was not ours for a fact. the bathroom is smaller than the state of freaking rhode island, and shouldn't even be called a bathroom. and last but not least the food tasted like wet disgusting trash. would never recommend for anyone.
