This place sucks.....the drinks are made before you even cook the food and just sit there. Veggie burgers are made on the same grill as beef. Most of the food is frozen, microwaved, and then cooked. Everything prepared is done with no gloves. Placing orders 45 minutes ahead of time and you get there and still wait 20 minutes is just ridiculous. This place is downright disgusting. I wouldn't recommend going to King Kone!!
Long time locals favorite for made-to-order hamburgers, shakes, and all kinds of treats. Way better than any fast food...better quality food and freshness. Family owned and operated.
I have been going here for burgers, fries, onion rings, tots for over the last 20+ years. It has always been a great experience food and staff wise, that is until today. My burger patty was dry and cold, the fries and tater tots in my order were cold and tasted old, even the drinks from the order were flat, they had no carbonation-When I called them, the young lady on the phone just said “yeah, we’ve been having problems with our carbonation in our fountain machine”. Then she told me I could come get another……. ??????? Why would I want another flat soda…..My thought were why sell something that you know isn’t right and the customer would not purchase if they knew it was bad??!!??!!I will not waste my money on bad products.Now I’m looking for a good burger place to replace King Kone…..
Awesome place to go..great burgers and ice cream..the veggie burger was so thin you really didn't know what it was..but everything else we tried was good will definitely be back
You always get great food there! They have a very big variety and of course their ice cream is delicious!
This place was great. All the hot food is good and cooked fresh to order. And when my son came up with a crazy ice cream order, they said they would give it their best shot and made it for him.
Good old homemade cheeseburger wrapped in white paper with a toothpick holding it. There quality of food has made them there for over 50 years. I will be back to get their homemade nutty buddy for desert.
Why would you ever go to a Dairy Queen if you have something this delicious in your town? I would spit on Dairy Queens parking lot every time I passed them if King Kone was in Mtn Home and I knew DQ were taking business from them and you should too as Hot Springs natives.
Ought to be 4.5 Stars!A classic "old school" drive up burger & ice cream joint!The "regular" size burger was a great deal at $3.59! Freshly cooked to order.... good quality meat - very tasty!The 3rd best burger I've had in Arkansas!!!!!(and I've had some pretty good ones here)It would have scored even higher, but the grilled onions were undergrilled and the bun was kind of mediocre(minor issues)The Tater Tots were very good - hot and crispy and not greasy!I got the Chocolate Covered Cherry shake - and it was outstanding!!!!! Thick and well blended with lots of chocolate and cherries thru out. Great flavor, great shake!!!!King Cone is Highly Recommended!!!!!
I called in an order to pick up for lunch. Not ten minutes afterward, I received a call that my sister had passed away. Needless to say that I forgot all about lunch... and dinner too for that matter. At 6:30 that night, I got a phone call from a young man who said his name was either Brett or Brent. He demanded that I come pay for the $15 worth of food that I had ordered so that it wouldn't have to go in the trash. He was rude, he was hateful and showed me absolutely no compassion or understanding given the current situation. I love their food. They have one of the best chili burgers that I have had in a really long time but I won't give another dime of money to any place that treats their customers that way. I work with the public and there are people that I would love to talk that way to but I choose not to because without their business, I don't have a job.
