Everything we had was so good. I got the Fat Caps and they were amazing. Everything about them was fantastic! That sauce!!!! Yum! My husband had the crabcakes and my daughter had the fried oysters and honestly you couldnt get anything any better in New Orleans or anywhere else on the gulf. The service was great and I love the atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
Loved this place! Great downstairs and upstairs had karaoke! Wonderful food as always!! The shrimp were huge and delicious!! Great music and great singers. Lots of fun like always.
Julie was an amazing server. Very friendly and knew the menu. Drinks were delicious and food was great.
Food was good. Took awhile to get it. Would be a good place to go and get drunk and party.
We were looking for a bar we could watch a NCAA basketball game. We sat upstairs in the bar/restaurant area where they had the roll-up windows open. It was good weather and the atmoywas great. Upstairs is a smoking area though. Four tvs on the wall up there so good game viewing. It was a Saturday night and they also had karaoke later. Chicken tenders & fries were great.
This place is amazing! The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. We waited no time for a table for 2. Plenty of staff available! We had the crab cakes and gumbo. Being from south Louisiana I have to say it was spot on! Light and flaky crab cakes and roux was on point for the gumbo! If you are in town it is a must place to stop!
We always eat at Fat Jacks when in Hot Springs. Great food and a comfortable place to unwind and enjoy beverages.
I enjoyed the atmosphere of a hole in the wall with Louisiana style. Writings on the wall of people who have been there, dollars stapled to the ceiling, and stuffed animals that looked like they needed dusting. However the crab cakes were rubbery. The cups of etoufee and gumbo were decent. The wait staff was friendly but only two there. Short staffed. It was just a gimmicky sports bar. Sad.
We were upstairs in the little karaoke bar and it was a lot of fun. The people who sing seem to be regulars and they're all really good. The drinks were really good too! I've also eaten here before (not this time) and the food is really good as well.
Best cat fish and shrimp and ostster I have eaten in a long time highly recommend fat jacks
