This was our first time trying this place based on the recommendation of a friend and it didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be back. The service was very attentive. The food was delicious (get the delicious Cancun) and the margaritas were on point (jalapeño). Sleepy locals spot that is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!!’
Food just ok service was terrible. One other table besides us. Never came back to check on us. On top of that we had our check delivered before we even took our first bite. It was 6-7pm so it wasn't closing time yet.
We order takeout from here at least 3 or 4 times a month. They always have the best authentic Mexican food around. The Parilla fajitas are our favorite, but those enchiladas are amazing too.
Food was served cold and service was bad, then the manager get aggresive when we said something.. this place is horrable and the owner is really messed up. They even took pictures of my cars plates because I sad his food was cold. CRAZY. That is a out right lie, you never can back to our table once. You never explained anything. You came out to my truck screaming like a mad man, threating, taking pictures of my tags and truck, Your unstable at best. Hot spring is a small town dude, word of mouth travels. YOUR NOT FIT TO BE A MANAGER OF ANYTHING. If you would ever came back to the table you would have seen the empty glasses that need refilled and the other person plate full of food that was inedible. Never Again.
One of our favorite places to eat at on a regular basis. It is usually very slow, and concerning if they will stay open. However, tonight they were extremely busy! While they didn’t have the staff to be busy, they did the best they could; and I overheard several patrons that were just as happy to see them busy.Great food and service as always
It was okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. The servers were nice but the food was average. I sat at the bar and the bartender didn't acknowledge me. I had a server instead. I don't know if it was because of a shift change.
So delicious! The El Pastor Pizza dish was out of this world delicious! Flavors were original and fresh.
Super friendly, helpful, courteous waitress. She asked questions to make sure she got it right. Stayed on top of our needs without hovering. Price is always right, too.
It was early evening, around 330,well before dinner. I stopped here solely because I knew I wanted a "to go" order and knew that well before dinner...I probably wouldn't have to wait long. Sure enough, the place was empty except a young lady..personable host. We spent the minutes talking about our dogs. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and a burrito grande with steak. I could have easily made the shrimp a meal, but didn't know when ordering. It was absolutely amazing..crispy bacon, not undercooked and limp, wrapped around the large shrimp. It tasted superb. The burrito? How many things can you say about a damn burrito...they aren't complicated. I'll tell you what though...it wasn't a tortilla crammed full of stuff...it had it ALL with ample steak this thing delivered a LAYERED taste experience. You take a bite and instead of getting just a mouth full of mix (which is fine), the contents were such that you get to experience everything they put into it. One flavor followed another..and thats ONE bite. Quite good...amazing. It was HEAVY. I ate half (after the shrimp) and was stuffed. Reheated the rest at 10pm..and made sure to finish it. So...in the end? I've been around. This place is no joke. EXCELLENT food. I'll return many times. Thanks for doing it so well Cotija!!.
I never leave reviews. But I got an account just to leave this review. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I was told at my table right before leaving that they do not want me to come back if my kids aren’t better. (I have a boy toddler) It was in such poor taste. I am single mom and I struggle with my kids sometimes. I can understand talking to me about it but not they way this was handled. Both employees were extremely rude to me. I just feel like people need to know how little care and compassion they have for someone like me who is single and struggling and supports their business. Awful, awful people.
