Great food and service! My egg salad sandwich was probably one of the best egg salad sandwiches I've had in awhile, and the cookies and cream pie was to die for. The lady taking our order was super nice and patient while we were deciding what to order, and even gave a few recommendations! Will definitely go again if/when I have the chance!

Thursday Lunch.Friendly staff. The demographic is mostly older women, felt a little out of place.Wife and I ordered the Catfish w/ Side Salad and Meatloaf with Side Salad.Catfish was soggy and had the consistency of being reheated in a microwave. The meatloaf was very tough, this was the first time we’ve ever had to cut a meatloaf with a knife to get it to come apart. The water and side salad were good. Overall it was too expensive andI would not recommend this place unless (1) you already eat here and like the food, or (2) you have money to blow and cannot cook at home.

For all the positive reviews I read about this restaurant,I was baffled at why the food was not even close to being good. The staff was very nice and polite. Unfortunately that is where the positive ends. My wife had the burger and potato salad. The burger was just okay and the potato salad tasted like dill that's it dill. I had the Ruben thankfully that was edible, also ordered the butter nut squash soup. Possibly the worst soup ever. Weird taste and awful texture. If all soup had the same texture I would never eat soup again. But the staff was very friendly so that did help the experience.
Did a day trip to Hot Springs and I’m damn glad I did. This restaurant is amazingly good, the food is off the chart and I’m telling everyone I know in D.C, Maryland and Virginia about this place. Just keep doing what you do BEST and that’s serving WONDERFUL FOOD and providing GREAT customer service.
