UNDERESTIMATED! We were looking for a place based on the reviews. It was rated lower than a place we attempted down the road but left. I don’t see how this place got a lower rating. DONT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY IT’S COVER. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 was because of its location behind the hotel.
Super friendly and conscientious server. Broad menu selections. Got the loaded fries very delicious. 44$ ribeye with shrimp was below par in flavor and quality of cut. I want to go back and try the tuna. The atmosphere, cleanliness and staff would be worth another try.
I hate giving bad reviews but I was so beyond disappointed with our meal here. Iceberg Salads were sad and seemed like out of a bag mix. I am a 5’4 and 120lb woman. I ordered lobster ravioli and it came with 3 shrimp. It was a tiny meal and my husband had to share his plate with me. Everything seemed frozen like my toddlers chicken strips and my ravioi and husbands chicken portion was small as well. Everything is very expensive and not good quality. I was expecting a restaurant on the lake to be an awesome experience but this was lacking in all areas. We paid 80$ for a meal we could have made ourselves from the frozen aisle. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Green salads are not green or fresh. It looks like bagged iceberg from the store. We ordered ribeye steak and baked potato, which were not served hot. But the outside deck is charming and has a beautiful view of the lake.
We really enjoyed our meal here last night. We didn’t have super high expectations but our steaks were very good and flavorful. I recommend getting them cooked medium rare!
Lots to choose from..from burgers to seafood with an extensive bar/wine list. I recommend dining outside on the water if weather permits. There scallops and tuna is always great and the espresso martinis, (while not on the menu but bartender will make upon request) are very good.
Was told outside would be 'pleasant' - but it was hot, with no fans running, and we were seated directly with sun in our eyes. Food order was not correct (brought a much more expensive dish) and the food was average at best.
Decent steaks if that’s ALL you’re wanting. Zero creativity in flavors for fish. Over seasoned due to no knowledge of seasonings. Zero creativity for vegetable options. Too loud. No ambience. Were told they were not seating outside then saw tables being seated outside. Nothing exceptional. A do not return for us. Service nothing exceptional either.
Ok, so steak was worth it. Appetizers were good. I didn’t care for the blue cheese dressing but other than that salad was good. Setting was very casual, paper napkins, laid back wait staff but food was good. Prices were not cheap but could use table cloths and cloth napkins to set accurate ambiance.
Fantastic food! Great quality for the price. Phil, the bartender/owner is awesome! Great drinks. Nice restaurant on the water. Very clean and all the staff is very friendly. 100% recommend the marinated chicken.
