One of the finest dining restaurants in fort smith.. their menu is limited but the quality of food is worth appreciating.. Also to mention they have an amazing collection of wines.. The waiters are well knowledgeable about the dishes they serve and happily answer all the questionsKid-friendliness: They provide a high chair and have a kids menuParking: There is amole parking space available in the frontWheelchair accessibility: There is a wheel chair accessible parking, a ramp to enter the restaurant and also the door is wide enough, i can say ADA compliant for wheelchair access
First off, the good things. The steak was amazing and perfectly cooked (ordered medium rare). Prices are reasonable. While we were there, Vincent came out and sang to a neighboring table. The restaurant is smaller and has an intimate feeling. We'll definitely return and try more of the menu. The not so good things. Food presentation isn't the best - why packaged butter when herbed butter (tasted non-herbed) is served in a small dish? Servers and front of house need to be trained better. While we were eating, other customers food was placed on our table while they were being served, Butler trays for neighboring tables were placed directly by ours while the other customers were being served, and our dining plates were removed from the table without asking if we were finished with them (we were still eating our salads). Also, the bus boys were spraying a heavy scented cleaner on the adjacent tables, which were recently emptied, and cleaner overspray flew over to our table, on our food, and choked up my wife. When she asked the man to stop or not spray so close to us, he shrugged and continued spraying and cleaning. There are better ways to clean tables with customers nearby.
Food was great, once we actually got it. The server didn’t come by for about 15 minutes for our drinks and apps. Both were wrong. Same with our meal, did not get what we ordered and our server seemed like she didn’t want to serve us. Hopefully the next time we come back the service is better, but I felt very uncomfortable and forgotten about the whole time.
Love Rialto! Vincent is an amazing server! We have been coming since the restaurant opened. The food is excellent!
I went for Ladies Night and it was wonderful! Great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food!
We had a late evening dinner and the restaurant is located right by the river and views were stunning. Very elegantly decorated venue with modern chic look. Our reservation was honored well with a lovely welcome experience and Chef personally came to welcome us and surprised us with Amuse Bouche. We ordered Pizza and a really nice Sardinian Red wine and they both complemented well and delicious. pizza was out of this world. We asked Chef to prepare something special and he surprised us with special signature dish however it was too large for us and we were so full that we could not finish. Overall the dinner and service experience was very good and we will certainly go back to enjoy a Pizza.
THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD! Go here! Get the crab cake!!!!!
Vincent was the BEST server! We never had to ask for anything. He was right there keeping the food, drinks, water, etc. coming! He was so friendly. We sat on the patio; they wiped down everything from the rain and accommodated us. AMAZING everything!
Expecting our usual dining experience at the Rialto, we decided to celebrate Mother’s Day early. Total disappointment this evening. When we got there, I was told there was a limited menu that evening because of an annual event being held in downtown. On the menu was a strip steak, I asked the server if I could get the filet mignon, however after asking the cook, only a ribeye was available. That’s fine ribeye is super. The server brought out the “ribeye” and it turned out to be a piece of lukewarm “prime rib”.Being in the hospitality field for over 25 years, I knew this was no ribeye. However I told my wife, if it is tender and taste good that’s okay. However the first thing I noticed was no marbling but plenty of connective silver tissue. I told the server the meat was terrible. She offered to ask the manager for a discount however I said I wasn’t looking for a free meal and that I would pay for it, I asked her to box it up and see if our pet would eat it. First of all I can’t believe a cook doesn’t know the difference between a ribeye steak and prime rib. The issue is not the service but the quality of the product being served to a customer. The positive thing was my wife’s shrimp and grits was good and so was the sweet tea. Another issue was when the check was presented, there was “service charge” on the check. I asked the server when this started. Supposedly the staff was doing it because the local town event was having attendees who didn’t tip. I always tip a minimum of 20%. Therefore I am offended by a restaurant who puts service charges on a check without the customer’s permission. The service charge on the check was 15% therefore I told the server I would increase the gratuity to 20%. She graciously said she could take it off however I said it was okay because it wasn’t her fault because of the poor food quality. A gratuity is for a server who knows how to take care of the customer. Sorry, for the rambling, however your product did not meet my expectation and we won’t be back.
Vincent is an AWESOME person! He is very attentive, polite, full of joy and kindness. He set the atmosphere for the wonderful food!I had great fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. For my main course, I had a WONDERFUL Blackened Orange Roughy. My friend had an INCREDIBLE plate of shrimp and grits! Also, there was a very entertaining piano player!
