It was very good and even though I got itTo-go it was very hot and I live on the south side! Way to go slim chickens! Only complaint is your prices. The only time I can afford to go is on special occasions and it was father's day!!
Really enjoyed our visit! My sandwich was an easy tie with popeyes for all time favorite spicy chicken sandwich. The kids all loved the fries and everything was hot and tasty. My wife said her salad was delicious. Finally, had the strawberry cheesecake in a jar and it was outstanding! Highly recommend. Service was top notch as well for this visit. Thank you
I usually have really good service and excellent food at this restaurant. My most recent visit was an exception. After waiting over 20min for my food I asked about it. They had apparently cleared my order. I waited another 5 min to get my order after that. With that said, my food was hot and fresh once I received it, but nobody really apologized either.
Freshly made food and quick service <-- My original review.. My new review. I went there tonight 4/19/22..I decided to splurge a little since their food is a bit pricey, but you know what they say "you get what you pay for". Well first off my tenders were hard, and cold. They also counted that small, about a quarter size piece as a tender. Next the fries were very soggy, and cold as well. I mean even the bread was cold and limp. Even their cups say " fresh, made to order", so you can imagine how disappointed I am. ?
The employees were great and the food was very tasty. I docked one star because the only two trash cans were beyond full the entire time we were eating, making it difficult for customers to not make a mess throwing away their trash. The manager guy was walking around on his cell phone in the parking lot for quite a while, way longer than it would have taken to dump some trash. Other than that, it was a good visit.
As many other reviews state, if you order on their app for curbside don't waste your time waiting outside, go in and get your food before it gets cold. And check that they give you everything before you drive off. I haven't had a correct order here the last 6 times I've ordered it. They have the best fried chicken in the city, which is the only reason I keep coming back. But don't expect accuracy or speed. If they don't have an item or don't feel like making it, they just won't give it to you in hopes you don't notice or complain. I had a milkshake left off a delivery order and the manager e-mailed me to tell me it was her fault because she ran out of milk shake mix, and said I could come in and get one whenever I wanted. So in other words, inconvenience myself for their mistake. Tonight I ordered gravy and checked my order and there was none - I go in and they tell me they don't have any and that's why they didn't give me any and ask if I want to wait five minutes for them to make it. Then literally fifteen minutes go by while my food gets cold because they couldn't be bothered to make some when I ordered in the first place. No apologies or any kind of offer to make up for it. It's no exaggeration to say stuff like this has happened 90% of the time I've ordered here over the last few years.TLDR good chicken which is their only saving grace because service is awful. Check your food before you leave for accuracy. Don't expect them to make up for any mistakes.
Be prepared to wait 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich and fries… Food is ok but the wait is atrocious.Very disappointed in the cleanliness inside. Food everywhere, tables not clean, trash cans filthy and overflowing, drink station looks like it just dumps on the counter.
I don't normally give reviews for "fast food" restaurants but had to here. Worst experience at a Slim Chickens I've ever had. If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible service and rude workers. Every empty table in the restaurant was dirty.Took 30 minutes to get my food. When it finally came out was cold as ice. Portions were tiny too. Chicken fingers were about the size of my pinkie. Will not go back here!
If I could give a zero rating I definitely would if I could give a negative rating I definitely would. This is the worst location I’ve ever been to in my life. I am currently pregnant and my husband and I love slim chicken but this location right here can never seem to get any of our orders fresh every time I have been to this location I’ve received dull unseasoned fries. Every time I have asked for extra fry seasoning due to the fact that my normal fries don’t even have seasoning on them it results in the same thing fries with no seasoning and super stale taste . Tonight ! Specifically i know it was close to closing but they had about almost an hour until close , she Hands me my drinks i shake them they have absolutely no ice at all so when she opens the window to hand me my food I explain to her that I hate to be one of those people but if she would respectfully remake my drink due to the fact that there’s no ice in either one of the cups and they taste in water down she’s done staring off paying attention to a car that is off over another way and then proceeds to say I’m sorry what was wrong with the drinks when I explain that they were water down but they were watery with no ice in them she hands me a cup and says I can give you some ice with no lid on that cup . My response was that there’s no point of me even wanting the drink at all now. Keep in mind through all of this there was nobody in line at all someone pulled up after me but there was no one in front of me . SMH Won’t be back to this location ever and sad to say it’s the only one near by , I’ll stick to eating it when i travel to okc
Will have to say was a little hesitant on ordering the grab to go chicken box. They actually give u true sides to feed a family. Everything was fresh, hot, and tastes great. Mac and cheese about as close to homemade as u can get. Rich and creamy. Only knock, but not worth dropping a star was a gallon of tea seemed a bit on the pricey side.
