Absolutely amazing food and service. Was visiting from out of town and the employees were friendly, kind, and even gave us some extra biscuits and fries since it was our first time at Popeyes. Can't recommend this location enough. 11/10 Looking forward to trying out Popeyes back home more often because of my visit.
Now I understand being short staffed but we had to wait 20 min before I even got to place my order. There was only 1 other car in the drive through. No apology no for warning bad customer service all the way around.
I visited the restaurant on 7-8-2022 at shortly after 3pm and it wasn't busy however there was no one attending the front register. This resulted in 2 different customers walking out because they weren't waited on. The lady who ran the drive thru was handling money and then food with no gloves and after witnessing this I decided to leave. I wouldn't dare eat anything out of this restaurant until the food handling process is brought up to code.
I usually use popeyes on zero street, however i decided to try this one on rogers ave, it is closer, I ordered 2- 5 piece chicken srtrip snacks. and 5 piece chjcken specal. Service was good and quick, when got home and olpened strips i was disappointed. There were 5 strips in each box but a lot smaller than ones I get from popeyes on zero street. Reminded me of why i drive twice as far to go to one on zero street. I'm back to going to zero street.
This locations customer service was significantly better then the other location. My only complaint is that the wait time was long for drive thru.I ordered the 16 piece chicken meal with mashed potatoe, red beans with rice, cajun fries, and cajun rice.The chicken was warm to the touch and super crispy, thoroughly cooked and seasoned.I can't speak for the cajun fries since my kids ate all of them. I can only assume that they were tasty as the kids didn't want to share it with me.Red beans and rice was OK. I was hoping that the beans were proportioned to the amount of rice. Although, it tasted good.Besides the chicken, I do like the cajun rice. The spice compliments the rice in its own unique way and is flavorful and perfectly seasoned.
With three major chicken chains in Ft Smith you would think one of them would have it all. In my opinion popeys has best chicken and homemade biscuits, church's has best sides with more to choose from. I've yet to eat KFC so ny rating could change if I do.
We've been visiting this location since it opened. We always ordered bone in chicken and asked for sweet heat sauce. Every request was accommodated. Then we stopped visiting after Covid because the dining room was closed and we don't like sitting in the car with greasy fingers.We decided to stop by on the evening of Easter Sunday. When we got to the window and asked for some sweet heat sauce the girl said we would have to pay for it. Are you friggin kidding me?Prices already sky high and you can't even go in and sit down. Why not just close? Next, McDonald's will start charging for ketchup packets. We won't be back here.
This Popeyes is consistently disappointing. They almost always forget to give you something you order. They close at 10p.m., but apparently if you go through the drive thru at 9:05 p.m. they will let you know that the kitchen is closed and you can basically only have what they already have cooked. “We are out of mashed potatoes, mild chicken strips, mild and spicy chicken sandwiches, no blackened chicken strips, no 3 piece chicken meals, no 4 piece meals mild, and no shrimp. (It would have been easier for her to tell me what they did have lol!) Oh and we are only accepting cards, no cash.” Literally ended up ordering something that I did not even want because I was hungry and that was all they would sell me because that’s what they already had cooked! Had I not waited in line for so long already I would have just went somewhere else.
Great location food is solid Popeyes standard fast food cuisine. Some locations are better than others but no complaints about my experience.
Loved it. Mixed bucked of mild and spicy, Red Beans & Rice, slaw and Mashed Potatoes. Excellent but not enough side qty to match the amount of chicken. 16 piece chicken, only enough sides for 3-4 people. Should have been twice as much sides.
