The food here is good. However, they were rude to my Father today. They told him, "We can't take any orders until she gets caught up" and offered no apology or anything. They didn't say that they might take a few minutes extra or anything. That is the exact wording. I'm sorry you are short handed and I get it but that attitude is still unacceptable. Work on your wording and learn to respect customers. We will be going somewhere else for chicken from now on.
They're always very busy and there's always a wait, but the place is clean and every worker is still always patient and steady, never rude. The two ladies that seem to be in charge stay close and work right along beside their crews. I think that's very important for morale. Worth the wait!
The service is bad waited 25 minutes for my order didn't get one of my sides or dipping sauce. There was 6 people working and had to ask them to fill my order. This store needs a whole new crew, and this isn't the first time it happens every time I go there
never go after 5:00 p.m. the night shift is total flakes, then when they mess up your food or leave items out and you call back they say you need to bring the food and the receipt back so you don't get to eat and you're supposed to show back up there the following day to remedy their mistake with receipt and food in hand... SMH!As far as food quality is concerned though it is by far the best fried chicken restaurant in this raggedy town. Churches can't touch it, Bojangles can't compete with Popeyes. KFC is not even playing the same game. There are some fast casual or a buffet I can think of that have very good fried chicken like Golden corral, but for quick fried Chicken this place can't be beat!
I usually like Popeyes but I got about 2 bites into my sandwich and had to stop! Not sure what was going on but that sandwich was not good. My fries were amazing though, as usual!
40 minutes in the drive thru?? I know I hit the dinner rush at 5:30, but for being the first time not too sure I will return. I waited patiently because that's what I told the family I would have them for dinner. I ordered the 10 piece family meal, got home to find 4 large pieces of chicken, a bunch of small wings and 4 chicken strips????
If you are hungry do not get the chicken strip they are the size of a finger, the nuggets are litterally bigger than the chicken strips. Other than that the food is always pretty great with flavor and crunch.
Every time I've gone to Popeyes, they are usually very slow. We went on a Sunday with a pickup order, it took 20 minutes. The inside cashier (4-3-22) was very attentive, friendly and a very hard worker. They were short handed with workers, so the cashier did multiple jobs but was very efficient. He did apologize. But usually when we go, they are slow. The food is always hot and good.
Summer took my order and was very helpful and provided different options for me. She was a little nervous but she did a great job. Food was good and my wait was very short
The food was great, as always. The gal that took our order was very friendly. Just knocked one star due to the restaurant being fairly dirty.
